@stopstickers Well, it was a reaction to the bush precidency... And I am sorry to say that the liberals have a better track record of rational decisions. :)
@Magnetohydrodynamics "liberals have a better track record of rational decisions" Thanks for giving me a good laugh for the day. :)
A calculation of 26 major civil rights votes from 1933 through the 1960's civil rights era shows that Republicans favored civil rights in approximately 96% of the votes, whereas the Democrats opposed them in 80% of the votes!
@stopstickers This is a fallacious argument. If you look at the SOUTHERN DIXIECRATS who ran on the platform of, "Whites are better than everyone else", and, "Don't let those commie black loving people into office!", you will find their votes were very different from democrats from non-southern, non dixiecrat states.
Good job lying your ass off to win an internet argument. Go learn about what the word, "Context" means. Please. Numbers mean nothing without context.
@Artisn You know what. You win. I'm going Liberal. Now I do think that successful people either gained their wealth by inheritance or on the backs of other people. There's no way that they just made the right choices in life, like getting an MBA (not an art history degree), took chances to start new ventures, failed & tried again. They are just "fortunate" & "got lucky".
And you know what? The current 50% to 55% taxes on the "evil rich" isn't enough. They need to pay their "fair share"!
What 50-55% tax? Where? Income? Rich people don't have income, they have capitol gains, which is normally at 15%.
Secondly, it is my understanding after experience more and more of this life, that you don't really succeed by having the best idea or work hardest. Some people work 3 jobs just to feed their children today. You often succeed by being selfish and egocentric without having a perception that you are. And you need to be more and more cunning.
@Muthsera80 Google "97 Percent of Americans Pay Less Tax Than 15 Percent" So even if the "evil rich" are paying 15%, it's more than 97% of everyone else. The top 5% pay 60% of ALL taxes. Fair Share?
Where have I said "evil rich"? I didn't, contain yourself to the argument at hand.
Google isn't a source, it's at best a library to find the source. I don't agree with the notion that it should not be like that. You contribute by the level of your means. If you are on food stamps, you can hardly contribute, now can you? That gap in contributions only shows the severe gap of income in the US. IF the disparity have been lower, that number would be lower as well.
I love the long pause right after CJ says she's going to smother him with a pillow, when they both clearly know what the other one is thinking (and anyone who's seen the movie does too), and the way Josh looks her up and down right before he opens his mouth. It was a good line to begin with but they really made it great!
@YNot1989 This was made back in 2002 or so - back when the Internet was fairly static; before Facebook, or YouTube, or Twitter, or anything "Web 2.0". Of course they don't understand the Internet as we do today.
@9claudiajenssen He outranks her on the Executive Branch ORG chart - but in matters related to communications, CJ definitely has the final say over Josh. :D
Remember Josh, no one, but no one messes with the White House spin doctor. lol

Especially the Republicans.

@Magnetohydrodynamics You do know that from an American standpoint, Europeans are all f*cked economically, right?
Especially the Marxist Liberals.
