She didn't let her fans down and took the stage that night... it was an amazing evening and I don't think there was a dry eye in the house when she sang this... God Bless her!!

This is one of the reasons why myself and so many other people love Carrie underwood. It's becasue she is so down to earth and fills her songs with emotion. I just realized, Carrie was crying, because her driver, who she lost, never got a chance to say goodbye to his family or anybody, sounds like it was a sudden-impact death. One minute he was alive next second was dead. That's why Carrie's emotions got the better of her. Which is very understandable and letting it go. Shows how she put emotions into her song without trying.
It's very rare you see her break down like that, this was completely understandable. I agree with everyone else, RIP to the driver. It's hard to believe she was able to get up and perform knowing what had happened. I feel so bad for her.

I guess you are right, this one's even worse and more emotional than the one she did on her 08 tour, I am referring to JAD in Jonesboro, Arkansas, a woman was holding up a sign saying our dream has ended and Carrie started crying and pointed at her letting her know she saw her. That feeling is eating away at me.

That really annoys me too, I mean seriously no comment about the performance, the voice, the emotion, the fact she dedicated the song to Robert, no comment about what happened to the guy, no all they comment on is the fact the dress looks "bad" or "weird" or whatever pffttt. Ah I haven't seen the performance you are referring to, I will go and look for it now, hopefully it's still up on YouTube somewhere!

@sharapova4eva I will never understand how anyone can be as callous and shallow as to not see the performance and the emotion she is displaying while singing this song. It is still pretty much a mystery to me how her dress can even be relative in moment like this. Seriously, I wish Youtube would just ban these people. Oh and the dress is beautiful and not in the slightest bit weird! If you believe in ghosts or spirits I am way sure Robert was in attendance of this concert watching her..

Carrie is so amazing her truck driver had just died that day and she could have postponed this concert another day but NO she was strong and decided to go ahead and go on with the concert anyways even though she did not have to, carire is amazing.

This is one of the reasons why myself and so many other people love Carrie underwood. It's becasue she is so down to earth and fills her songs with emotion. She is so thoughful towards others, and makes every moment count. She makes you feel important and special weather she knows you or not. Im sorry to hear about Robert her truck driver, it is very sad, but im sure that at this moment he was looking over carrie and smiling.

it was the guy that was driving the truck with concert supplies to the concert that day and got in a devastating wreck and burned to death. very sad story.

I just realized, Carrie was crying, because her driver, who she lost, never got a chance to say goodbye to his family or anybody, sounds like it was a sudden-impact death. One minute he was alive next second was dead. That's why Carrie's emotions got the better of her. Which is very understandable and letting it go. Shows how she put emotions into her song without trying.

It's very rare you see her break down like that, this was completely understandable. I agree with everyone else, RIP to the driver. It's hard to believe she was able to get up and perform knowing what had happened. I feel so bad for her.
