Operation: Anchorage is the shit. Best armor in the game you can get without doing a glitchy ass quest.

@vash12349 do not downgrade to a dual core. Upgrading a computer is not as simple as legos. You need to take your motherboard into account to use a processor with the correct socket and that is supported by the motherboard. A dual core is siginificantly slower then a quad core unless it is clocked at like 4Ghz. A dual core will make your computer SLOWER. Just take the bullet with fallout 3 and quick save every few minutes.

If anything, he should just upgrade to a higher ghz and stick with quad core. Even if he does that, it'll probably still have issues; Fallout 3 and New Vegas both are riddled with glitches.

Most likely a new processor wont work. I have 2 core machine with 2.5 ghz which is a fairly good proccesor still crashes. Also Nvidia card shouldnt have any problems with it also as Ati cards still receive crashes. Fallout new vegas also has theese weird crashes on PC. I guess you should avoid anything that lags a lot which can create crashes also. Hm.... After time crashes will be in about 2 or 3 hours after game has started. Im gonna try and get FO3 and mess around settings and see what i find

Mothership Zeta doesn't last very long but you can make a shit ton of money if you have a good repair skill. Just grab the Drone Cannon's off the robots that show up a little later and repair'em up as close to 100% as possible. With my Barter at 60 I was gettin right around 1100 caps apiece. Plus,the aliens make the funniest sounds when you kill'em.
