Being from winnipeg i remember tommy well.

We played him in 6 of his 9 grey cups and had the honor of having him in WPG for 1 year 69, when we were pretty bad (sorry tommy)

Without Q. the best east west rivalry in cfl history WPG-HAM and tommy was a big part of that during the era that made that possible 57-65.

WPG plays BC today in the grey cup but its just not the same as playing their old legendary rival TOMMY and the TICATS.

Thanks for the memories tommy esp. the 65 wind bowl in toronto.
