  • lol thunderfoot #2 lol rofl!!

  • lmfao !! hahhaha eye rake to start the match lol

  • @xAces11Highx Mr. Wrestling II would open a street fight with a knee lift.

  • Was'nt he also Charlie Brown? LOL

  • Did you know Tony Schiavone does sports on the radio in Dayton

  • I didnt know that the guys from ZZ Top wrestled!! lol jk

  • The Crockett Cup, wow.... When Tag Team wrestling actually meant something.

  • @carl22069 hes 68,and in great shape, still runs 4 miles, and 100 pushups a day. hes lost some weight, but none the less can still kick ass in the ring

  • Thunderfoot and the rest of those unknown wrestlers were nothing but walking punching bags. Their jobs were strictly to make guys like Jimmy Valiant look good.

  • Boogie Woogie lives in my town. He runs a wrestling camp and I think he raises goats. No joke.

  • what a scummy mother fucker, he took it deep in the ass in memphis in 84 he and tony faulk were caught bumping dicks in dressing room

  • @steviemacful ill tell boogie about this comment,i sure hope you can prove this!

  • does anybody know what dairy queen and tony (fuck) faulk have in common in the dressing room in memphis coliseum 84 with JV ?

  • A Great time in wrestling, they need show's now that a star can be built up by beating jobbers every week. And cut down on the PPV.

  • how can anybody hate the boogie woogie man

  • I remember these great times in the NWA wrestling days on TBS. This was great!

  • funny when he is walking to the ring, the black girl gives him a go to hell look at 1:29 as he is shaking fans hands. guess she was a pez whatley fan.

  • Breeze

  • whats this got to do with ronnie garvin

  • Handsome was made to wrestle in the South. Those fans are the best and understand the relationship between a wrestler and the fans. The NWA was the best wrestling ever when it was with Crockett. The fans in the WWF could not understand Handsome the way the southern fans did.

  • Boogie Woogie was the shit back in the day. He didn't have the move set of a Kurt Angle or Bret Hart, but what he lacked in technique, he more than made up for in charisma. Fun as hell to watch a man that knows how to kick ass and enjoys doing it so much. All beginning wrestlers should be required to study a Jimmy Valiant promo.

  • OH man I too remember Pistol Pez beating him up after he called him the best black athlete I never seen anybody go from a good guy to a heal in one sec lol. Need to find that one

  • Ha. I have met Jimmy Valiant and I can assure you he does not smell. But with that beard and overall appearance he had back then, I can see your point.

  • @allstarjeff1 why are you watchin him then, he happend to be my fav when i was a kid so fuck off and dont watch anymore off his vids

  • Jimmy Valiant is cool. in this time i start to watch wrestling.

  • Boogie Woogie Man! Some of the best promos in the business- always put a smile on my face!!

  • One of the most unrated wrestlers!!!

He mic work and charisma was pure gold.

  • I love that laser sound effect in the opening of WCW,that reminds me of the laser sound effect from the Transformers.

  • thunderfoot looks more like a Flash uniform

  • Oh my god...I forgot about the Thunderfoot jobbers.

  • J.V is my alltime fav wrestler.

  • boogie is the man boogies wrestling camp forever mad respect

  • I remeber meeting Jimmy in 98. He was still putting in work and I was still in awe.

  • At 8:29 pause the video...it looks like the front row of a Winger concert..lol

  • I'm gonna strut around like Boogie Woogie Man as I arrive into the office on Monday!

  • friggin awesome

  • lmaoooooo start whoopin your co workers asses too

  • It was such a kind & generous gesture that Jimmy dedicated that thumb to the throat to Tony Shiavone.

Maybe next time it'll be a body slam or a kick to the head.

Obviously followed up by some sugah.

  • I dedicate that beating i slapped on that pick pocket in copley station to you Tony Shiavone

  • Comment removed

  • Jimmy Valiant was as good get as it gets.

  • what song is this? Where can one get it?

  • I was crazy about jimmy when i was a kid, how is he doing these days?

  • Jimmy is the owner of a small promotion in NC, still in the business..

  • He has his own wrestling school in WV.

  • LOL, Jimmy Valients a crack up. Love it, hahaha.

  • Great footage! I love this guy. Does anyone have the footage where the Barbarian injures his throat with an axe handle? That really upset me when I was a kid.

  • i remember jimmy v got his head shaved by paul jones

  • Im friends with Jimmy, hes a one of a kind great guy and loves his fans

  • Jimmy Valiant "You hear what they are saying, Tony?"

Tony Schiavone "Yea, they're sick people"

    ROFL

  • Tony Schavone: "He's a great athlete!" LMAO!

  • This is a very catchy tune and makes you want to get up and tap those toes. lol1 i have this song btw, full and complete CD Quality. it is NOT available to the public. only people with connections can get it.

  • I always loved this and the Rock'n'Roll Express theme

  • This is the stuff I grew up on!I miss it!

  • First of all, the best intro ever.

Second, Jimmy Valiant was unscripted which made him great. He just rolled (pun intended) with it and made it seem legit.

  • I never get tired of that music

  • that was wrestling at its finest. Before fucker took total control.

  • @hillbilly1339 Which fucker? Did he/she help that McMahon cunt kill wrestling?.

  • Who in the blue hell is Big Jimmy wrestling ?

  • It's like they went out, found a wineo and decieded to give him a push. LOL Just Kidding! He was great!

  • the boogie man is freaking awesome

  • The boogie woogie man does and it was awesome as hell.

  • The best part about Jimmy Valiant was that he'd come into the ring dance around over to his opponent, and then eye-rake them as his opening move, which I find to be absolutely hilarious.

I mean who the hell opens a match up with an eye-rake?

    Only Jimmy Valiant...

  • I used to love that. He had manay of those classic, sat morning minute and a half matches too. Throw the guy into the ropes drop him with a hit to the head pickhim up repeat finsh with the elbow drop then go give tony "shivat-O" a kiss.

    classic!

  • @xAces11Highx Dude, that is the absolute funniest comment I've ever heard!!! I can't stop laughin, and replayed that entrance like 50 times!!! "....eye rake as an opening move",,lmao

  • tony schiavone seemed to enjoy himself...also, i loved it...it was a great alternative to the sports entertainment of the wwf.

  • Love the southern twang of the boogie man. Sounds like he's from southern Louisiana. Cajun perhaps?

  • "cAJUN" IN NEW YORK CITY"?

  • Thunderfoot #2 was Gene Ligon

  • when wrestling was wrestlings big baby!!!

  • Just the intro brought me back to childhood.

  • I'm assuming he's talking about when the Midnights burned Garvin with a "cosmic fireball". I think that might be on Youtube somewhere.

  • That's exactly what he's talking about. The video is on Youtube, search for Garvins Reunite.

  • "this is fa you Toneh Shavanteh!"

    [thumb to the throat]

    hahaha, classic JImmy!

  • "Ok, Jimmy Valiant."

    Hahaha.

  • And I guess licking the thumb first makes it that much more 'powerful'...

    hahaha

Tony was such a good straight man with Jimmy's comedy.

  • Could you please post the Ronnie Garvin incident Tony Schiavone was talking about?

The Crockett Years are The SHIT!!!!

  • Great post its sooooo cool looking back at all these classic wrestling shows keep them coming this is cool thank you so much!
