I've never gone hunting before so I have some questions. What do they do with all the ducks they killed? I'm an angler so I'm used to releasing my catch but what do you do in this case? Any help would be much appretiated.

@sohcsarewicked ya your ignorant, for example mallard duck populations are about 7-8 million, in the hunting season they will be cut down to 3.5-4 and then after nesting rebound back to 7-8 million, if we didn't kill ducks we would have EXTREME overpopulation and they would all suffer. Hunting is the NUMBER ONE conservation tool for all game species.

i have got to agree tith rjnortheast why do you all need to shoot at the same duck? why not take it it turns at the singles at least it has a chance then. When you all go for the same bird the law of averages says one of you will hit it. I am not against you shooting, I shoot myself but surely you need to let your quarry have a sporting chance?
