  • u can aget it done now at columbia university in ny they re having this study now

  • has anyone seen or experienced rTMS for ALS?

  • Now this treatment is available in India, If you want to know more about this treatment you can contact Coamso Institute of Metal Health and Behavioural Science (CIMBS), New Delhi at +9111-43666666, or +9111-41327777

  • I had rTMS about a year ago, and it worked great. There were no remarkable side-effects. The effect lasted about 6 months. By then, the FDA approved an rTMS machine treatments with which are not paid for by insurance save BCBS Federal, and even then only on a case-by-case basis. I strongly suspect the drug companies are determined to make sure this treatment remains obscure and prohibitively expensive. It is non-pharmacological and non-invasive, so naturally it cannot be permitted.

  • pff heavy shit

  • TMS was first done on humans in the mid 1980s, and there are some side effects: the most serious is the induction of a seizure, although it must be at very high doses to do so unless there is a predisposition such as taking certain medications or history of epilepsy (i've never heard of it inducing a stroke). depending on where you stimulate, you can also affect mood. TMS does affect neurotransmitter metabolism (e.g. striatal dopamine release) and hormone levels.

  • Have there been any side effects observed after the TMS? When were the first rTMS done on humans?

  • i read about TMS and it can induce strokes but is difficult, and 5% of people had report headache after TMS sesion. Also TMS don't make structural changes in brain either hormonal changes or chemical changes.

I have some information i can send you if you want

  • I had rTMS about a year ago. The only side-effect was that I felt a hell of a lot better. The effect lasted for about 6 months. Then, the FDA approved an rTMS machine, but no insurance pays for it save Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal, and even then only on a case-by-case basis. It is my firm belief that the drug companies are determined to prevent this treatment from becoming widely available and widely used. It is non-invasive and non-pharmacological, so of course it cannot be permitted.
