uluru wasnt a volcanoe. it was connected with the olgas and other rock masses forming huge mountains which have been eroded by the high sea level millions of years ago. haha i just got back from there. drove from sydeny to there and back. 8500 km.
Dang! that really seems like 'ur "deluxe" rock for sure.
I'm just guessing, but most the time we see a formation rising up from the ground alone like this, it's origin is volcanic. Is it the remaining volcanic core of an ancient volcano?
awsome job matie, shows just hey great the centre is.. everything Aussie, oils, and quantas...all you need is "where the bloody hey are ya" good stuff
"Dead Heart" by Midnight Oil. I listened to it while I watched the Rock during sunset. It is expensive because the Resort there is a monopoly, so prices are twice or three times more expensive than in other places.
It is in the Red Centre. In case anyone wonders, I did not and would not climb the Rock. There is a good museum there that explains the local myths about Uluru and Kata Tjuta. I hope you have fun cassidy, but beware, it is super expensive there!

What's the song? This is so cool. Why is it so
expensive? Because it's so remote?
