  • could you register one for road use because i would love to take one to a local cruse night

  • @njmvermont sure. ive seen some with license plates and lights. vw dune buggies are legal, these should be too

  • ive got an old v8 fom a buick. a 280 somthing?. according to my grandpa its the smallest v8 ever made. and im very interested in making one of these.

  • That thing looks nice

  • It's not an SHO engine, just the plain old pushrod 3.0. It handles fine, the oversteer in the video is because I wasn't used to driving anything with any power. It drives and handles like a gokart, everything happens quick.

  • looks like it would have way to much oversteer?

  • nice man i might consider making one for senior project.

  • It's not really a Caterham, its completely home built. The engine is a cast iron 3.0L v6 from a Ford Taurus.

  • @turbogoof Really? Is that the SHO motor?

  • Really ... What engine is in it ? looks small enought , like max 2L , am i right ? and is a car one for sure

  • catterham

  • awesome, what kind of engine was used???

  • how did you make it?

  • @AmnaBibi13 amazon(dot)com/Build-Your-Own-Sports-Car/dp/1844253910

  • Check out sevenesque com for chassis plans and a ton of info on how to build one.

  • Where on line did you get the plans? Thanks.

  • I've been working on it off and on for about 6 or 7 years now, probably cost about $10,000 to $12,000. Locostusa com has tons of info on them.

  • How much did it cost you to build, and how long did it take? Thanks a lot. Very interested.

  • any chance you have the plans to this and want to share them?

  • @MrBobbymo theres plans for the frame online. its based off of a lotus seven or caterham super seven.
