  • awsome what an i say:P

  • it's like DOOM music

  • that's because they ripped off a whole bunch of songs. This song can be heard on Doom 2, Map 7 - Dead Simple. Don't believe me? Play the map.

  • Or if that STILL isn't convincing...

Here, search this... EvqC4NFqdBc apparently I'm not the only one who thinks No Remorse is a STRONG influence on Prince's song writing for E1M1.

Oh and one last thing, way to jump to name calling, shows how intelligent one is, even more so when the statement following the calling is wrong.

  • double barreled shotgun! BOom! Die demons!!!

  • This is amazing. Now if only it didn't start out so slow...but besides that it is pure through and through amazing. DOOM's music with a new twist.

  • also, can one please do an 8 bit of Devildriver? id love to hear that =P

  • feels like im playing DOOM =)

  • awesome haha, i like the original more but stil haha this 1 is good also hahaha

  • *is reminded of DOOM*

  • Can someone tell me where to download 8 bit songs?

  • Yeah,

the Doom music were very similar to some metal songs of 80's :)

  • There was actual some song, like Pantera in the beggining of 4 act :D

  • Yeah, E3M3 Pandemonium and Slayer's Behind the Crooked Cross sounds eerily similiar in both the intros. Listen to it.

One can't wonder but ask if the game/music producers were into metal and such.

  • South Of Heaven sounds really cool in 8-bit, I can picture Bowser taking over the Mushroom Kingdom and causing a great war with the inhabitants while this song plays.

  • Fucking awesome, the intro sounds like a boss intro!

  • go listen to your 50 cent gay crap, you nigger piece of shit.

  • i think you need to be quiet kiddo. Slayer are my favourite band of all time and this is my favourite song. so keep quiet

  • yes, just after my comment I noticed that you were actually talking about the 8 bit version, that really sounds like crap.

    sorry dude.

south of heaven is my favorite song also xD

  • no worries mate. you have a good taste in music :)

  • this is fucking awesome! sick job! and thanks for the lolz! seriously, though.....sick!

    great soundtrack for old-skool games!

    slayer rules

  • Hell Yeah!!!

  • At aroun 1:40 the riff is not quite right...still kickass.

  • Beautiful. Ha ha, fucking love this!

    Atari has been reborn.

  • Reminds me of Doom II hahahah, in Map 07 there's a song that was inspired in South Of Heaven so when you play the original DOS version with a Sound Blaster using OPL2 you hear something like this, really nice hehe, keep the good work man!

Long life to the Audio Preview!! hahahaha!

  • DOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • bowsers theme lol

  • the beginning fits bowser so perfectly

  • sounds like it could've been Ganon's theme for level 9

  • Good work man.Oh can you try to make an 8-bit of Seek And Destroy i think it would sound badass.

  • I didn't think a slow slayer song would sound as awesome but I was wrong. I bet Crazy Train would be cool.

  • perfect song to be made 8-bit, great work man!

  • This could have been a soundtrack to the older Castlevania games.

  • mmm remiends some to some DOOm level

  • it was covered in DooM II on map 7

  • really????

  • Yeah, is not the same thing but it was inspired on South Of Heaven, got different notes but the structure is really similar, the drums are almost identical.

  • yea i checked it out.....drums pretty much dead on.....

  • Believe the title of that one is "Shawn's Got The Shotgun".

  • Wow it's perfect for the Bowser's Castle in a Mario! :D

  • 8-bit is the shit. It'll rule the world... It'll rule way past Playstation and other's consoles till the end of time:D

As long as people keep making and spreading the word about 8-bit gaming, homebrewing and getting Unix on those consoles, people will love it forEVER!!!

  • Can you teach me how to do these? I e-mailed you about it, because there are absolutely no explanations on the entire internet.

  • You need guitar tabs, Guitar Pro, and a program called GXSCC.

  • I love all of these 8-bit versions you do, keep up the great work!

  • haha this is fucking awsome :)

some more metallica or even some devildriver, haha tht would be a challange? :P

  • AWESOME!! Two of my favorite things in one! SLAYER AND 8 BIT MUSIC!

  • you shoud do silent scream to match south of heaven
