He handle some of it well and some of it not so well but i do think he was a good president. He had to deal with ALOT of shit while most americans just sat back and judged him and critized him because the media told them to. Well for a president to be considered great he has to rise to some great challenge. Bush had the opportunity because there were lots of problems... terrorism, war, economy.... but he just failed to handle them. Blew it on 9-11, screwed up 2 wars, blew it on the economy. The best you can say for him is that we didn't get attacked gain after 9-11, but even that's compromised by the torture scandals and misbegotten, bungled wars.

When a bunch of presidential historians were asked, straight out, in 2009 who the worst president in history was, most of them said Bush. MOST. Think about that: Bush beat out the other 42 presidents COMBINED.
Bush is the William Hung of presidents. A guy so awful he makes even the worst presidents look like masters by comparison.
