George Harrison was such a beautiful man. He really was. George was so fine, with his thick wavy hair and his beautiful face. Paul is also very fine. The Beatles brought fun and talent into the world. They are the world's best band!
Can't hear any proof that this is at the Madison. I watched it come down in '79. It was right next to the old Boston Garden. The site is now occupied by the Thomas P. O'Neil Federal Building. No mention at all in North Station that the Madison was once there. It was a who's who of famous entertainers & sports figures that stayed there.
The swine reporters of the mainstream media were always scum; they keep on with "Do you think you will last or fade like miniature golf?" et cetera. The bastards have been eating crow ever since! They really pushed the "The Beatles are just a passing fad" crap fervently. I've more respect for lawyers than for media hacks, and I loath lawyers.
LOL, my first rock concert... I was 8 yrs old, my mom took me... couldn't hear them, friggin Beatlmaniac girls jumping and screaming, but it was awesome
@Birchbark5 I never heard them until late in '65; before that, whenever the first notes of a Beatles tune started on a radio, every girl from eight to eighteen started shrieking as loud as she could. It was some kind of competition/group conformity thing. Now all those girls are old grannies and they look real respectable, but if their grandkids could see them as they were then, it would blow their minds!
@Melissandrel ........ no she was actually that 50's era rock and roll and Elvis generation and during Beatlemania was into Motown stuff, I got to listen to great music all the time and she it was cool that I was getting into music but was not a big fan of the Beatles.
