Yep, this is at Northlands. We're from Winnipeg.. sometimes, we get to go out to Edmonton to show.. it's a very nice change! I've been to that horse show three times now, it's always very good. :)

He's a great horse.. Unfortunately, he's been consistently lame for the past 4 months though. We're trying to figure out what's wrong with him. :(

Awe :( that's super frustrating when you can't figure it out. Have you tried a massage therapist? We recently had one out who was able to find things we had no clue about. Nothing serious, but it explained some things.

The horse is from Czech.. I bought him from a young man, his youtube is hovorkahorses.. there's a video on his page of the horse before I bought him.. he looks so beautiful in it. Yes, I fell in love with this horse the moment I saw him. He is a nice enough horse to resell for a good profit, but I can't do it. Not only is he talented, but he is the sweetest horse ever. He loves to cuddle. He is basically... the greatest... ever. haha :D

Thank you! At the time of this, it felt very effortless.. now, he's gotten it into his mind that he has to overjump everything by a foot (which is much harder for him). Haha, I'd love to go back to the old days.

He was 7th. It was a big show and a stake class, so they placed to 8th. He went double clear but I had him going reeeeally slow!

Oh he definitely is.. very laid back dude. It's nice most of the time, but can be a pain to motivate sometimes. Still, he is a great horse! Thank you for the comment!

Hey thanks! Yeah, riding him feels like sitting on a cloud, as lame as that sounds. He is super smooth.. cantering is nice, but jumping is even better!

^.^ He's doing really well. He was being a bit silly for a while, but he's had an epiphany, I think. My part boarder is getting ready for his first show this weekend, so I'm hoping he keeps behaving himself!

Thanks Jen.. his father is LaPaz with some number in front of the name which I forget. Not a famous stallion (or a very nice looking one for that matter), but deeper in his lines he has Furioso, Cor de la -, and Landgraf I, so there are a few superstars in there somewhere.

And we got 7th, they place up to 8th at that show. If we hadn't had time faults, I think we would have been about 3rd. :) About 30 in the class, so not bad. Only his second time at this height.

Wow u "guys" look awesome..Its just that you (the rider) look really stiff. Your elbows look like they're locked in place. Dont worry tho I do the exact same thing when i jump i get really tense and nervous. but AWESOME JOB:) keep it up.

Hmm, really? If anything, I would like to have less arm movement! I want to stay as quiet as possible. Just a personal preference, I guess.
