  • You've got a lovely Australian accent - not twangy. Good job.

  • My dad's colleague was in america when he was younger and was Hillary Clinton's classmate there...

  • Unfortunately I don't think that's really enough to say that any two people in the world are separated by 'six degrees'. But that's just what I figure.

  • I actually remember reading something about the six degrees of separation concept, and what it was actually based on. Apparently it was a study conducting in the US where people in one state would have to mail something to someone they didn't know by sending it to the most likely person they knew that might know the recipient, and asking them to do the same until the letter reached the recipient in another state. The average number of people it went through was six.

  • this book is boring! try tipping point by Malcolm Gladwell. same subject wey much more iteresting

  • @tonydrunk Thanks!! I will do that. I liked your brutal honesty xD

  • I know a girl from Australia, she knows Australia, and Australia knows you! :O :D Hi!!

  • Are you Tom'a sister? Or Girlfriend?

    MINDBLOWN.

    O.o

  • INSTANT SUB! your that cute XD

  • @ocarinalover1348 naww :P

  • I'm sorry for obsessing over your videos right now but I think we need to be best friends.

  • @itsjessie13 :D

  • MOAAAAR COWBEEEELLLLL!!! Frezned's video got me here, thank him for that. (I don't feel he and I are on a first name basis. Yet...)

  • Did Tom just make a Here Come The Mummies reference...?

  • Liza Minelli. All the way. I think you're gorgeous.

  • Ah coincidences can totally be explained by this principle of degrees of seperation although it is more of a concept than a principle...this includes the coincidence of this topic '6degrees of separation' appearing in my life at least 6 times this month.

I didn't know about the degrees of influence, gonna have to get my grubby mits on this book. Sounds excellent.

  • Well it certainly is positive as already onto the second chapter!

  • Sorry if this is generally deemed as an inappropriate question (as are most awkward references between friends to facial similarities), but you and Tom have the EXACT SAME MOUTH.

The speaking similarly I can logically contribute to constant close proximity, but.. the MOUTH. M'lord.

    I'm sorry.

p.s. Covering your highly distracting chomper with my hand, your video was lovely. If that's any consolation.

  • @mrblueysky no

  • @mrblueysky CORRECTION: Me and Shae have the exact same mouth. Good ol' Jewish mouth genes.

You really haven't looked hard enough at the mouth. My lips are clearly much puffier than Toms. And different shape. And colour. Duuude..

  • omfg you look like eva spence.

  • @scorpin145 Woah man, Eva Spence? She's totally kick-ass awesome :D

  • @erinfaceface You know who she is! Awesome : D Like you!

  • @scorpin145 mathcore has a very special place in my <3

  • I've met and hugged Mr. Nerimon, and sometimes we text, so I count him as a friend. He's friends with Tom, who you are dating. (I think?)

Three degrees of separation with some random Canadian girl for you!!! Yay!

  • You are lovely :)

  • An important thing to remember is that connections are weighted. Some have the weight of a feather, others are like a stone. I hope the heavy connections I have are positive, as well.

  • @ctso74 This is a very important and awesome point. Thank you for sharing it with us <3

  • TOM MADE A GAME? WHAT?

Oh it's for the DS? Forget about it. I don't care any more.

  • so how many degrees is knowing someone through youtube?

  • @MrStripyHead Wow.. I don't know!! To be honest, I've been wondering about the exact same thing. I'll get back to you when I've finished reading this book :P

  • Erin I think your influence over others is AMAZING.

    <|:^D

    (mega suck-up points hahahahahahahHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA)

  • @KingJaredoftheLand :o Thank you Jared! Well did you know that some of your insights have totally changed the way I see things. For example, earlier this year you told me that money is just a way for people to acquire stuff, and it's kind of meaningless. I was like 'OMG that's amazing!!' and I've taken up that view ever since! You are a very wise dude :D

    (suck-up points reversed!!!)

  • Thinking about how connected we are shows me that you can make even the slightest change in peoples lives by just being yourself and I think that obligates to be the best one can be. Just my thoughts about that I hope they make sense to you.

  • @SloCheetah13 I understand what you're saying and I totally agree with you! Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me :)
