  • she is the ROKOTOM TOM TOM KOUROKMOTOMTOM.. girl

  • @tinaa18 Wouldn't it also sort of depend on what region you're from? I've never been to Iceland so I won't pretend to be an expert, but here in America we have so many different accents, depending on the part of the country you're in. Is Iceland like that too?

  • Eeeesh. Her music lead me to think she had an American accent.

  • Even when she's just talking, Emiliana is still fun to listen to. There's just something about her voice that's just.... it's almost hypnotic.

  • 0.43 - "sporrrt", she sounds just like Bjork. Lovely accent.

  • @velocifero86 like Björk she fakes it. We don´t even say r so hard in Icelandic let alone if we are speaking another language. Emiliana also seems to be speaking more with an Icelandic accent since moving from Iceland. When she sang English in Iceland back in the 1990´s most people thought she was foreign. hahahah .

  • @Starkardur she isn't faking it, when i speak english my r's really come out, it just depends on the individual.

  • All this time I thought she was Italian. Can't believe I missed the Icelandic accent. I wonder if her Bjork talk? :P She is a great singer...so natural.

  • great interview. seems like such a happy, likable person.

  • love how she rolls the "r". like Björk =D

  • i love the icelandic accent!

  • hey phoenixforce, i see where you are coming from man, i'm a huge black metal fan, but her voice always draws me back, its crazy. peace from newfoundland!

  • wow. ive never heard her talk until now. and its like shes doping me up with her voice and accent... im helpless lol . i found her from the song she did for the lord of the rings soundtrack "gollums song". ive been hooked since. and im a full blown metal head (shrugs shoulders)???

  • Well .. i know several icelandic people and they all speak with this strong accent, especially the women, even though they live in holland and speak english everyday, so to me it sounds pretty natural

  • maybe a stupid question.

since she's half italian, does someone know if she speaks italian too? :)

  • i'm curious too...vorrei saperlo anch'io ;)

    she's cute..and she looks fresh..like her

  • whats the music in the background?

  • Me and Armini, song from the album that has the same name :)

  • thnxxx

  • It's here music :-)

Song's name is Me and Armini

  • Her voice and accent is so similar to Björk. But she doesn't like to get compared with Björk ...

  • I never got the comparison until now because she is faking her Icelandic accent like Björk. Neither of them speak with Icelandic accent in reality. They fake it although TOrrini´s accent sounds more natural. Björk´s sound ridicilously forced.

  • what makes you say so?

Well, it makes sense since she's been living in UK for a while now but you seem pretty sure of yourself.

  • i get what you mean, but the only thing i notice is that sometimes they roll the r's and sometimes they dont. you can try and say foreign words the right way or not care to and let your accent slip out. either way i wouldnt say its faking, its just how well you want to pronounce words that day. i make no sense, i love both ladies and their music!

  • I´m your stalker :-)

Emiliana you are the most beautiful/pretty/sweet person in this universe!!!

  • ohhh. She looks very pretty in this interview-video

  • 3:33

So it was just like O:

  • Love her hair! And her music!! And her accent! :)

  • I hope that Vito isn't Italian....

  • I love my sweety lovely wonderful Emiliana Torrini !!!!
