  • If the location test edition was EVER dumped, then I can ACTUALLY play a set of songs with new X ones and final-removed musics.

  • @AgentPofNewVestroia It wasn't. It is nearly impossible to take anything from a location test, especially if its something like copying the games image. I wouldn't ever think about doing it myself, but I can't say the same for others out there. Its not too big of a deal anyways... You can play them on an older mix.

  • i used to go there all the time xD

  • @XcodestaX same here... :( its a total dump now.

  • This is Chuck and Cheese right? I recognize the annoying loud sound with like 7 tone changes from some other machine in the video.

  • @fierothehedgehog Nope. Brunzwick Zone in Naperville IL. They most likely would not test a non-redemption game like DDR at a Chucky Cheese location.

  • @xkonsentox yeah but i hear that annoying sound you would hear when in a chuck and cheese. you hear that little tune when he's choosing his character? that's what i mean.

  • @fierothehedgehog Ya... That's just other arcade machines though.

  • So thats the title... SUKI SUKI SUKI SUKI SUKI! MELO MELO MELO MELO MELO!

  • What about the Hottest Party songs & banners?

  • @homor242 There were only two DDR HP songs in the game at the location test. More songs were added in the final release.

  • @xkonsentox Oh. Well i saw Into Your Heart Ruffage Remix in DDR X Arcade.

  • @homor242 And Super Samurai.

  • es mi sueño jugar en una ddr x, lastima que en mi ciudad no exista cultura de juegos

  • con suerte hay 2 supernova XD

  • There's a DDR X cabinet brand new in San Jose Oakridge Golfland. I helped put it together. Everything looks great, but the functionality of it extremely EXTREMELY SUCKS. E-Amusement cards are on a Japanese website and the USB is only for Song Edits that are already on the cabinet. Oh well, I'm still busy with ITG and waiting on DJ hero :]

  • e-amuse is not released in America yet. We have to wait a little more longer, but it will be out for DDR X Eventually.

  • Yep, its that bad. Did they bother even testing the machine before releasing it? I dont think so...

  • Hmm, this is the first I've heard of the new announcer and so far I don't like it. When you got to the songwheel I thought it was some moron in the arcade

  • WAIT!!! What?!?! I was just at Brunzwick Zone Naperville Yesterday and I didn't see DDR X! Is this the one on Aurora Avenue??

They only have itg3 and DDRS2

  • This was a location test, it was only there for a month to get player feedback.

  • Ohhh! I see... So like, how long have you been playing? You are really beast...

  • 7 Years.

  • damn... Well... I hope to see you around at Brunzwich Zone in Naperville sometime! I want to get over there on Mondays, but I have work =(

I just started playing DDR for real! I always used to go to Fry's electronics and just play because my parents would never buy me the game... Then, I began playing stepmania/ffr when I discovered them 1.3 years ago, and I borrowed someone's metal pad 2 months ago for 1 month. I still suck, but hey! I love it! =D

  • To be honest you will probably never see me in there again. The machine they have is one of the worst machines I have ever played on in my life. The only redeeming thing about that place is the in the groove 2 machine.

I go to Gameworks every weekend now instead.

  • DDR X is not out yet unfortunately this was just a machine I tested. The Test machine is gone already. :(

  • I totally hear a Tower of Power in the background. UGGGGHHHH.

  • well your totally right.

  • hmm what song is in the beginning of the slide show? :)

  • Brilliant 2U is the intro song (The one from Furu Furu Party)

The 2nd song during the slideshow is LOVING YOU) Epidemik Remix), from Hottest Party 2, and Furur Furu Party.

  • I'm guessing this is how you spent your weekend?

  • sort of.

  • great video, thanks for putting it out there!

    -Ry19

  • No problem!

I have not heard from you in a while Ryan!

  • im still here, doing my part to help out!

    -ry19

  • glad to hear it!

Do you know whats up with e-amuse at the test location right now? Ever since the SuperNOVA 2 board came back from repair, it has been offline, and still is. Any word on whats wrong, and if its going to be put back online?

  • holy new ddr?

  • Its Brilliant 2U from Furu Furu Party.

I knew someone was going to ask what it was :)

  • I never knew that the USA version of DDR X has songs from DDR X JAP?

  • um... its the arcade game, of course it does.

  • They should have translated that to Polyrhythm, because that's what its supposed to be.

  • for the songs with the "english name" , dont you mean transliteration?

  • Like what he, its the name in romanji.

  • ya.

  • Sekai Ha Odoru? LOL wut? Also for Tabibito does it play the music video for the BGA like it does in the Japanese AC?

  • I am confused by what your asking. Sorry, its probably because I am very new to DDR X.

  • For Tabibito, does it play the song music video?

  • oh, yes it does :) I remember it because I was totally not expecting it.

  • Nice video dude! This pretty much covers up the location test for the US...

...i can almost be assured that this is the FINAL test location before they release it nationwide ^_^

  • I am pretty sure its that last one also. The release is only a couple months away now.

  • It's now officially in my Gameworks location. I found out today. Big shocker.

  • new cab, or upgrade?

  • new cab :) HD plasma, LED speakers, the works :D

  • We dont get the light sticks, the iPod wheel, the correct lighting system, and correct dance pads.

  • I can see that. The new mats on the DDR X cabinet are actually pretty nice and they don't have those screws in them anymore like in the older DDR cabinets and they don't have any of those distracting strobe lights like on the Extreme cab x_x I don't know why everyone is complaining about the new cab, I like it.

  • because its EXTREMELY downgraded from the japanese version, and it was all so Betson could make an extra buck selling it. Not to mention the pads don't work, and the screen lag was not fixed when they shipped it. Getting rid of the light off the side seems to help a little, however I have grown used to them flashing in my face.

  • The mats work fine when I play on it and I didn't notice any screen lagging, but that's just me. Although, after playing DDR for what, 5 years, I noticed the steps are more off-sync in the newer versions. I know it's nothing new, but I noticed like 5 months ago xD

  • um... you have to be smoking a insane amount of crack not to notice the screen lag on DDR X. Also the steps are not off sync in the newer versions, the timing window is altered because of Marvelous timing, and I believe smaller.

The pads are fine if they are worked on.

  • I'm sorry. I've never noticed any lagging. Define when it exactly lags exactly. I'm just stating my opinion, no need to be harsh :(

  • I'm sorry... Its just kind of hard to notice seeing that anyone that plays the game notices it and then simply walks away.

Ok, the arrows are on beat with the music, but the arrows on the screen are delayed as well as the judgment for your timing rendering gameplay almost useless without the proper update.

  • Oh... gotcha.

  • Thanks, it took me a while to make because my first one got screwed up because of an error I made.

  • Oh, and boo on Sekai Ha Odoru. Another literal translation. Now all the weeaboos will be pronouncing it "Sekai Ha Odoru" instead of "Sekai Wa Odoru".

  • First it Was DDR SuperNOVA then SuperNOVA 2 and now DDR X.

  • Haha oh wow. They actually used a literal romanji translation of Polyrhythm.

  • Haha what the hell?
