i have an 05 canyon with the FIPK generation 2 cold air intake from K&N and its paired with a gibson side rear exit exhaust system and it made quite a defference in power and the exhaust note is also pretty throaty
ya i would say so, it added a little extra push, sounds awsome too. you really feel the difference going down the highway...And about the throttle body spacer i heard they wont really do anything for collys or canyons...so its not really worth the money..i was going to get one as well and then with a little research i found out that they dont really do anything but make noice lol
any better going up hills? lol I've got a 2006 3.5 i5 and am using tax return money for a magnaflow exhaust system and cai. I am still debating throttle body spacer, tho.
I do realize better power, mostly at higher rpms. As for fuel economy i didnt notice to much difference...i have a heavy foot so gas mileage has never been good for me...
what size motor you have in this 4 cylinder or 5 cylinder ?...stock exhaust or aftermarket?

will pass emissions and its way better than the air restrictive factory air-box crap that takes up cooling room under the hood

yea i would probably gut my cat this week then, ill try it out, thanks for the advice

i would just buy a magnaflow universal high flow cat instead of gutting it...because if they catch onto that then your screwed

gut your 1st cat, it only takes like 2 hours and it adds about 15-20 horses. plus your exhaust will sound better
