Actually the new technology is better but a lot of it is still the same stuff pretty much only with some some added fetures, and they are making the fetures to advanced which it's making it hard for people to figure out, the past few Cannibal Corpse albums have had really good quality and opeth's quality has always been really good.

I disagree. I love the old school sound. I hate anything that sounds modern. Death Metal should be raw. Although some clean productions are good and those productions would be from the old albums that were recorded at Morrisound. I hate Opeth and I REALLY hate new Cannibal Corpse. Especially, Kill. Make Them Suffer and The Time to Kill is Now are the worst death metal songs ever. The old way is better. I hate new technology when it comes to recording or filming.

Actually in the new C.C. albums you can really hear how they are growing as musicians, everything is starting to be more musical. New technology is better because you have more sound options and I like stuff with good quality death metal isn't supposed to be anything you can make it any way you want and I like it when you can hear all the instruments clearly, and opeth is freaking awesome.

But anyways I do enjoy the older music better but that's because of the bands not the technology.

I hate the new CC. They aren't growing. They started to slip after Tomb. By Vile, they kissed songwritting and quality good-bye. New technology is not better. It's shitty. I'm listening to Phlegm's Consumed by the Dead right now. It's raw and in your face! Not overproduced and dull, like nu-Cannibal Corpse. I can hear all the instruments clearly on Impetigo's Horror of the Zombies and it's still raw and it's the best album ever! I wouldn't have it any other way.

Dude it isn't the dang technology it's just the new bands, new technology can get any kind of sound you want, even raw if that's what you like, but older death metal wasn't meant to sound like that they just lacked the money for a good studio so that's why it sounds like that. I'm listening to Visceral Bleeding, it's raw and they use all the new technlology to record, and it isn't that technical.

We all have opinions, and truthfully yours is really good but you need to learn about true quality.
