This guy is selective with the Bible. Leviticus was in the old testament which laws were Mosaic (Moses's Laws of the time.) He ignores the new testament which applies to modern day people. Romans 1:24-27 for example, and 1Timothy 1:9-11. God loves us all, true, but he doesn't approve homosexuality. Hate to tell you this, but yes, faith is worth giving up. "Faith" is what we have when reason fails us. Would you rather have a doctor making decisions by faith, or by reason?
Your doctor example is a good example of one of the negatives of religion (pretending to be science with things like 6,000 yr old earth or Noah's ark). Still faith is worth questioning and struggling with because spirituality can do a lot of good in people's lives. St. Thomas Aquinas tackled the whole question of faith versus reason and a lot of people like him agree that mature faith is not necessarily contrary to reason.
Don't worry, there is no God. God is a fantasy people created out of fear of death and the unknown. A belief in God is a childish notion. Of course the extremely religious hate gays. I was thankfully born straight. Because of Adam and Eve, we inherited sin. Such as, homosexuality. Humans ARE born (without choice) homos because of the inherited sin. It IS a sin because Jehovah condemns it. Not all religions are the same. Religion is not just about having faith in an understanding but about constant study and daily practice of what the Bible really teaches.

This guy is selective with the Bible. Leviticus was in the old testament which laws were Mosaic (Moses's Laws of the time.) He ignores the new testament which applies to modern day people. Romans 1:24-27 for example, and 1Timothy 1:9-11. God loves us all, true, but he doesn't approve homosexuality. Your doctor example is a good example of one of the negatives of religion (pretending to be science with things like 6,000 yr old earth or Noah's ark). Still faith is worth questioning and struggling with because spirituality can do a lot of good in people's lives. St. Thomas Aquinas tackled the whole question of faith versus reason and a lot of people like him agree that mature faith is not necessarily contrary to reason.

The only footnote would be that He does speak of homosexuality(man with man, woman with woman), in seperate terms in His addressing to the Israelites. "Unnatural" is not true. Homosexaulity has been observed and recorded in more than 400 species.

Correct friend. God loves homosexuals, as much as He loves murderers, theives, and those who condone or partake in other sexual immorality. He does however, quite obviously not love homosexuality, as He does not love murder, stealing, prostitution and so forth.
