At 0:12, the picture of that grille is not off of a CTS-V, regardless of the year. I've never seen a Cadillac CTS grille like that unless it's aftermarket, or specific to the foreign market. It's hard to tell from the video what it is for sure but they don't look like that in the US, I know that for sure. That's not even a standard CTS grille. What kind of car is that?!

there are alot of factors as to who wins and doesnt. But seeing some quartermile times. The MPH of the 2 cars are about the same with the CTS-V being a bit faster in the MPH. The corvette with those mods can diffinitly make up the difference and then some.

I've seen nothing but vids of corvettes beating a "CTS-V". Thing is I'm sure that a BMW M5 can beat a corvette...and if thats so...then the CTS-V can beat a Corvette... I highly doubt any of you people actually had CTS-V's seeing how much they cost. and the fact that a Corvette would need much work to stand even close to a CTS-V. and even still pretty sure you guys do leave the other cars in Stock quality...and race them against Corvettes cuz you are just Corvette fanboys/fangirls

@3O2MuStAnG It's a nice bunch of thinking but you're not accounting for aerodynamics and other factors. The Vette is better set up for racing and has a much better drag coefficient -- also you're being fairly generous on the weight difference. Result = a close race, like it shows...

No, there is not... an LS2 Corvette stock has 400hp and the CTS-V Stock has 556. That's 156 hp is they were both stock. The LS2 is modded, and with intake/exhaust/tune... I've seen the LS2's go to 460hp easily. There is likely only a 90-100hp difference, plus the CTS-V weighs over 1000 lbs more than the Corvette.

I wouldn't exactly call it "killing" it if it's only *just* ahead of it. If you pause at the right time, there's barely a gap between the Vette's back bumper and the Caddy's front one. And given that the Corvette is a sports car, and that the CTS-V is a luxury sedan, I'd personally say the *Cadillac* won =P

I still was beaten by a 2010 CTS V that was showroom stock. ...and before anyone starts talkin' trash about drive skills, I run 12.2's and 12.3's consistently.  The CTS V did 3 runs, and two of them were 11.9, and one 12 flat.

CTS-V has the same basic engine as the ZR1 not the Z06. The CTS-V engine has a smaller supercharger, different pistons, and a lower compression ratio among other things. called a LSA. ZR1=LS9

If that picture in the early part of the video is the actual car (white one), then it's not a real CTS-V. That's not a real V front clip. You can tell by the grille area and fog light. I doubt you went up against a real V.
