  • im getting soooo tired of the ads, now i hate yoplait yogurt :( thanks a lot

  • beautiful pattern hideous material

  • Excellent!

  • Amazing!!!Love it...

  • I like the way she is not afraid to mix and match a lot of different fabrics. I'm probably more conservative than her, too messy for my eye, but I sort of get it. Very Street-style..!

  • This so makes me sad that I don't have a body form yet :(

  • 0:23 what the background music called???

  • Oh hell no I hate it

  • i like her

    shes really creative :)

  • different!

  • this is hideous

  • ooook!

  • WOW!! This is f-in KICK ASS!! Thank you for sharing - xo

  • wow i like from the waist to top .. the top fabric was beautifullll

  • Threadbanger! Please make a tutorial on how to make beanie hats! I know you guys have a visor-beanie one, but how bout one sans visor.

  • There's a video on how to make a beanie hat without the visor. Type in 'beanie hat from a sweater' in the search box.

  • Did she really need an assistant? haha

  • Nope! Though he's fun to laugh at

  • I kina want to see that dress on an actual person ... because on the mannequin, I'm not really sure

  • Me too. I want to see it on a person

  • What is that music at 1:35 ? I feel like it's from a game I played as a kid... maybe that's just the idea.

  • luv her.. she's sooo creative

  • i love her way of making clothes!!

  • she was so high.

  • I am loving the shirt at 0:31 -- Really unique looking!

  • Shirring foot hu? Is that something I can get for my machine?

    Wow what a crazy outfit!

  • Wow Corinne looked really pretty in this episode! I love the dress idea.

  • coming from a guy, that looks beautiful.

  • lol, shoes over a telephone wire are a signal that there's a drug dealer in that area, not sure if you wanna be zooming in on it..

  • really? coz i just throw old shoes over tree limbs and wires for the hell of it, all the time

  • Not always... see the wikipedia article on "shoe tossing" :P

  • this project would take me hours to do! i think its a d.i.yer for life project....

  • For back to school ideas i think it would be cool to show how to make a super cool pencil pouch or something!!! thanks so much love your show

  • yeah, like the zipper pencil cases you see at wal-greens. They want like 2 or 3 dollars for one section of zipper to build those things

  • wow their scissors failed. teehehe

  • OMG!! halloween is coming up!! ahhh!!

  • i would love to see ya'll do a show on making lolita style dresses, i would love to see a cheap way to make one of those.

  • usually you can buy lolita-esque patterns and personalise it to your taste.

Then just fit a petticoat under neath...

  • this was awesome! when i have some time i'm gonna make it. also, you both are adorable. never fail to give me a little smile.

  • ha ha yes, hospital uniform thingies :)

  • ahhh cant wait till this years back to school ones coz this year i acualy hav choice about how i dress and stuff coz im going to collage ^-^ cant wait to be the coolest diy new girl in collage

  • wow... how did you even get in to a college?

    enjoy your collage.

  • i feel insulted for some reason lol, im guna study art at collage from the age of 16 to 18 ^-^ its guna be fun =3 but aplying for collage and going 2 the interview and stuff was kinda scarey but i got a place ^-^

  • Loved this! You really really need to bring this awesome designer back! Thanks guys. -snip snip snip-

  • Wow! Awesome project! Makes me want to create something on a dress form. I don't really think this is a "just learning" level project, though...

  • Agreed... I really like the look of this project, and maybe "just learning" is appropriate if you're putting it on a mannequin, but if you're trying to do darts and shirred middles on something you're going to wear yourself, I think it's a bit above beginner level.

  • not quite if it's an adjustable mannequin or the one they showed how to make a custom one at home, i think you'd be jsut fine.

  • ooh project runway alumni :D :D

  • i've realised over the past couple of weeks that i've got lots and LOTS of old clothing that i've had laying around for years. Maybe you could do an episode on how to make a cool outfit out of old clothing for guys? i feel as if i know alot more about womenswear then i do mens.

    :)

  • Remember to do alot more back to school episodes.

    PLEASE:p

  • ...yikesadoo

  • Shopping tips! What are some really cheap .. (50?) sewing machines? What are some good fabrics? Etc etc :)

  • It was aight...not your best episode, BUT def not your worst! :)

  • hmmm cool:)

what can i do to recycle scrubs?

  • hospital uniform thingys? (im a little stupid)

  • ha ha yes uniform thingies:)

  • You could probably do something like place mats, coasters or even a purse.

  • AHH good idea i think im going to qulit them in to place mats

    thanks:)

  • :) I bet they'll look awesome!

  • Could you do a fat-lady dress or a tranny costume?

  • thats acualy a realy good idea tbh, most stuff they do is for slim people but im sure if you go on the fourms people are acualy requesting clothes for 'larger' people, i should know i comented in the thread lol

  • I agree, I can only make so many things from these videos because I'm not thin.

  • Loved the tutorial. I picked up some good points on how to make dresses on a dress form.

  • I agree, this was very challenging because it went so fast. Also, I felt like I wouldn't know the measurements at ALL if I tried to make this.

But, I hear there's going to be more tshirt recons and that makes me SO EXCITED!

  • Your sidebar information is extensive and well written, but on most videos I think that you don't provide adequate links to the designers personal web pages.

  • can you have 50 ways to wear a scarf

  • It would have been nice if she would have tried it on.

  • Hey TB! I'm a total newbie at this DIY scene, but I love your videos. I would love to have more tutorials on t-shirt recons into dresses. Without being too complicated. I got a cute idea off Kandee on YouTube, but I would like some more 60 styles. Thanks!

  • This is NOT for "Still Learning", it's for "Intermediate". Also, JoAnn went so fast that I couldn't see all the steps. I agree that her voice is hypnotic.

  • you can play again and pause, can't you?

  • her voice makes me sleepy

  • i just fell asleep actually ,_, lol

  • can u make a stylish jacket with a zippered hoodie

  • looks really good and DIYish

  • Not as easy as she makes it look but great video!

  • i wiil love something about pants

  • LOVE IT LOOKS CRAFTY AND STYLISH!

  • finally, something my style. i love it

  • i'd like to make a coat, but i don't even know how i would fit heavy fabric into my machine, so i guess i'm gonna have to hibernate

    great tut

  • do some lolita, you know japanese fashion tutorials.

  • I would like to see some headwear, hats or beanie ideas or anything really. caps perhaps.

  • I would love to see a shoe show! Seriously shoes are way too expensive.

  • It's "reckoned" not "reakoned"

  • Its pretty cute.. I wish people would stop throwing the word couture around. This isn't couture.

  • It's really annoying eh?

You don't do it out of respect to real couturiers

  • I would like to see an episode on how to make a cool leather purse for school or something like that. I don't know anything about sewing leather :S

  • i hope you guys to a sweet back to school episode!!

i really need some inspiration for this coming year!! :)

    i am excited!

  • yeah overalls would be great... i am searching for one but i can't find a beautiful one T.T

  • I'm very new to sewing, meaning the only thing I've sewn before was a sock monkey, and I wanted to know if you could do something for beginners? I don't mean pin cushions or t-shirt recons, I mean an easy garment from scratch. Thanks!

    PS I love the show!

  • that is so cute!

  • this is great, but what if I don't have a manequinn? and what makes it balenciaga?

  • They do a tutorial on how to make one, if you watch the video again, there is a link to it when you first see the mannequin/body form! :o)

  • I know they show how to make a body form, I'm just saving up to buy a real one... You know, made from foam?

  • That came out pretty cool! & I'm upset I couldn't do the contest! My sewing machine broke 2 weeks ago.

  • It's cute, but I think it is a higher difficulty.

  • could you guys do something with overalls

  • You guys should do a show on stuff for pets. How to make collars and leases, bowls, outfits, booties, and stuff like that.

  • oh my god, i love the whole Che Guevara wall on the background there. [:

  • ...but what if you don't have a mannequin?

  • ...use a live model that is similar to you :P

  • will that easily fit over your body. I know they used stretch fabrics...but they didn't install zips or buttons.

  • they didnt do that cause its a jumper and it goes over your head and its already made from stretchable fabrics

  • her voice ohmygoodness sounds like she has an apple down her throat...

  • I loved the sweater the guy was wearing.

  • this is not still learning

  • I agree, I'd say DIYer for Life.

    Still a nice tutorial though.

  • AW you guys match!

  • great idea but terribly ugly fabric!

  • That is a cool piece, even though it's not my thing. But it give me ideas after watching the show.

  • I agree with bugsyandtux - this looks more advanced than 'still learning' and her voice really annoyed me for some reason. I like the dress but i didnt like some of the fabric she chose.

  • I know! It's that weird huskiness, like Rachel Ray's voice. And I agree, odd fabrics to put together, but it's all about the inspiration right.

  • true...its good inspiration and the actual design is quite nice.

Odd fabrics but i guess she could have used even odder ones. The one she had already made had nicer fabrics.

  • 0:52 on the left! so cute

  • exactly my thought!

  • uhhh lets get a demo on that assistants shirt. it was amazing! nice vid! =)

  • on the boob section hahahahaha

  • you should do more guy clotheing

  • This is far beyond the "still learning" difficultly level. And what is up with the hosts' clothes (the two at the beginning and end of the video)? Their plaid shirts make them look like they are from the early 90's grunge era.

  • umm, grunge is the current trend at the moment

  • if you like it you like it doesn't matter if it's not the "in thing" right now

  • that is such a cute dress

  • That was a pretty cute dress, though I think that I wouldn't make mine patch worked or completely fitted. I like loose and simple. :)

  • I REALLY liked her assistants shirt!!!

  • i love this dress, but i can never seem to find any cool fabrics... maybe you could do an episode like that? ily guys!!!

  • I really don't like this dress. Sorryy.

  • could you pleaseee do an episode of no sew clothing projects? i don't have access to a sewing machine but i love DIY!!

  • yeah! me too i always wanna do the projects but i dont have a sewing machine:(

  • how to look fabulous when school starts without going all out on designer clothes. :)

    that'd be helpful.

  • the shape of the dress was really cute :)

  • i love a tribe called quest

  • omg thats hideous. this is the first time i havent liked a threadbanger project.

  • More guy tutorials?

  • Since the movie Where The Wild Things Are is coming out soon you guys should do a tutorial on how to make the pjs the kid is wearing in the movie. That would be awsome!

  • Ooh, that's a good idea :)

  • For the Decor-it-yourself, could you give some tips on organization for any space in your house or work space?

  • there alredy is one. i think!

  • one way to be "green" and recycle. great !

  • This is why I've got to get to work on making my body form- being able to just patchwork together a garment like this! I actually think the colours and the fabrics worked really well together- not everyone's style, but it has a definite "feel" to it.

  • Hey, could you guys do something with plaid button down shirts?

  • My opinion is: that dress was pretty ugly. Good idea though!

  • Agreed

  • Interesting.

O.O But I want to know how to make that dress thing she's wearing.

  • I also don't like the colors and fabrics she used, specially the metalic one in the end. But the idea itself is very interesting. Now we know what to do to all of the tiny pieces of fabric we have!

  • hi heloo

  • Awesome dress

    So cute

    =)

  • i dont like the fabric/color combo she did..

    and yes..MORE T-SHIRT RECONS!! =D

  • aw! I love how free loving she is!

  • Gosh, the slideshow was amazing.

It was kind of confusing but I like the dress! Yeah I wouldn't have chosen those colours, but what do I know? Anyway, it's worth a try.

  • I loved the look of the garment but I agree about the color scheme. How would one also measure this garment to fit their size being small or large? Also would you be able to do a threadbanger episode for those of us who are plus sized please? Plus sized clothing is ridiculously expensive as im sure other plus sized men and women would know so hit up the voluptuous with some DIY threads ;D

  • i'm plus sized as well and i think it'd help if you made a dress form to your body so you can pin and drape accordingly. making this jumper in plus sized isn't really much of a difference, just increase the numbers and the amount of blocks and pin accordingly

  • I LOVED the colors in the slideshow in the beginning, but what she just made color wise was ugly. D=

The colors didn't seem to go well together, and ruined the overall look. If she had used colors that complimented each other better, it would have made a fantastic creation!

  • are corin and rob "together" (dating) or do they just work together

  • Hey I know there's already a dorm room decorityourself video, but It'd be really cool if you guys had some diy for things that would be handy in college clothing and decore. some ideas could be making wristlets, a colorful cork/white/magnetic board for reminders, and any other ways to personalize such a small and ugly space. Remember some dorms dont let you change the funiture or the walls, but if there's a way to put art up or somehting that'd be great! thanks

  • We need more DIY clothes for men, please!!

  • i agree like all the stuff they do if fo girls :( and i say more RHLS

  • Cute! I'd actually wear that!

    I agree: MORE T-SHIRT RECONS!

  • daaayyyuuumn. that dress is amazingly gorgeous! but the instructions were a taaad confusing. but im sure i could make them up as i go. thanks threadbanger!

  • this is one of the most confusing celeb tutorials.

  • Haha... you two are too cute.

  • Awesome!

Jeez she makes it look so easy!?

  • Its so pixelated

  • AWESOME!!! great vid it helped (: :)

  • OMG GONNA MAKE IT NOW

  • adorable ;)

  • Wow this si sooo cool : )

Great video helped a lot x

  • cute!!

  • cool nice
