  • wow that's crazy footage.

Been like a milk pond every time i've been to scarbrough this year. I'd love to see this first hand.

  • @alisonmanic The best time to see it like this is in the winter months Nov-Feb I would think. This was filmed in January. You also need to be up at North Bay as thats where the sea comes over the wall the most.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • @pennylaneuk i am in scarborough overnight. This afternoon/evening's tide was crazy! I hope my camera does it justice when i upload. I got pretty soggy a couple of times XD

  • @alisonmanic I'd like to see that Alison. Let me know when youve uploaded it please.

    Penny x

  • @pennylaneuk All 5 are now up (now that i'm home) there is no sound as my camera isn't all that great.

  • God i have neve rseen the waves that rough

  • Penny!

That is SO scary. Those waves were huge! That has to be dangerous, seeing it with the snow was very nice, it was like something out of the day after tomorrow. Loved the stills too.

  • You should have seen me and my daughter driving down that road 20 minutes earlier... screaming like girls we were!

  • to be fair, they did spend 33m but there was no defence work carried out on the part where your video is filmed

  • Great footage Penny, it was nice to see Scarborough again, I know it quite well as my Dad lived there, so I have visited it quite a few time. Are the houses still falling into the sea?

  • Yes Dorrie they are . More I would say in the area between Scarborough and Bridlington . Cayton Bay is particularly bad.
