  • That's so funny! Hope it has a positive influence. Before immunizations was horrible.

  • 20 people have never been immunized before.

  • The video is funny but are we supposed to now believe that chemical-laced vaccines are safe because of this comedy? You guys are very gullible. Look into the monographs from the vaccine makers themselves to see how "safe" they are (sarcasm)h.

They are dangerous. Not only the cancer-causing chemicals they contain, but you are getting injected by diseases. Some vaccines were created from aborted fetuses. Babies aborted for money to make the vaccines. Look it up if you don't believe me.

  • The design and reporting of safety outcomes in MMR vaccine studies, both pre- and post-marketing, are largely inadequate. The evidence of adverse events following immunisation with MMR cannot be separated from its role in preventing the target diseases.

Demicheli V, Jefferson T, Rivetti A, Price D. Vaccines for measles, mumps and rubella in children. Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews 2005, Issue 4. Art. No.: CD004407. DOI: 10.1002/14651858.CD004407.pub2

  • @earenaeus Main results:

MMR was associated with a lower incidence of upper respiratory tract infections, a higher incidence of irritability, and similar incidence of other adverse effects compared to placebo. The vaccine was likely to be associated with benign thrombocytopenic purpura, parotitis, joint and limb complaints, febrile convulsions within two weeks of vaccination and aseptic meningitis (mumps) (Urabe strain-containing MMR).

  • @earenaeus Exposure to MMR was unlikely to be associated with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, autism or aseptic meningitis (mumps) (Jeryl-Lynn strain-containing MMR). We could not identify studies assessing the effectiveness of MMR that fulfilled our inclusion criteria even though the impact of mass immunisation on the elimination of the diseases has been largely demonstrated.

That was some bad, bad quote mining you did there....

  • @pocpic Not really quote mining since I didn't say which side I supported and didn't try to make it sound like something its not.. I support vaccination and accept that there is significant evidence for its efficacy. Equally, I readily acknowledge that there is insufficient epidemiological evidence to categorically state that there are no or negligible negative effects of vaccines. Of course, that review was 2005 but my very cursory scan of Medline revealed nothing better.

  • Hi guys! love your vid! Can you also do a parody about Medical technologists? I'm an incoming intern as a Medtech and it would be nice to know your view about medtechs..hehehe

  • @1984jordo And by the way, the 'insurance policy' you speak of? The Vaccine Court and National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program? Before VICP, the media fueled fears about vaccines, leading to increases in law suits and many manufacturers halting production of vaccines altogether. The VICP was proposed by a coalition of government, health organization, and industry representatives, as well as physicians and ordinary citizens as a means to ensure a suitable supply of vaccines.

  • @1984jordo Look dude, I'm sorry you haven't gotten laid recently and have taken to youtube to vent and try to argue with complete strangers to compensate. But really? Calling me a terrorist because I support vaccinations and the extinction of vaccine-preventable diseases? You're the one commenting on 6 month old posts and have yet to use one valid source to further your claim. If you want to contract measles or the polio, go ahead and let me know how much fun it was.

  • Doctors will not educate their patients on the true risk of vaccinations because they don't have to. There is no risk to them in being sued due to vaccine poisoning because they are protected. I have no trust in doctors, big pharma or the government in protecting me. You have to be your own advocate. I have come across many doctors that can't tell me the basics of the risks of the vaccine let alone the ingredients. Research the the problems associated with MMR. Then go get it done.

  • @iApna Done all that. Got the kids immunised. Happy, healthy, intelligent kids. One's going to be a nurse.

I'd see someone about that paranoia of yours though. "Trust no-one" was only a poster in a fiction series, after all

  • @teapotstrikesback - Look at where the US is in trusting banks in the US, George Bush, big pharma and the medical industry.

Have you heard of: National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) - You might need it.

  • @iApna Look where the US is with trusting antivaxers. More people dying of vaccine-preventable diseases than in car accidents.

I'll take my minimal risks with vaccines rather than major risks with VPD, thank you very much.

  • I have no problem vaccinating but its the ingredients and the dosage level that I have a problem with. More and more studies are coming out from credible resources that vaccinations have the potential of causing more harm than good.

Just take a quick look at the dosage level of vaccinations given to children to what is actually needed. This has also increased sine 1976. Also many times there are alternatives that idiot doctors won't tell you about, because they are barred from doing it.

  • @1984jordo Really? Thats the best you can do when replying to a comment thats almost half a year old? Wait, you depend of faulty graphs to lie about your misinformation. How about we look at the facts?

Before the approval of the vaccine, paralytic polio struck 13,000-20,000 individuals every year in the U.S. The number of cases peaked at 21,000 in 1952, only three years before approval of the vaccine. By 1960, there were only 2,525 cases, and only 61 cases in 1965. Numbers dont lie.

  • Today I've been on a bicycle tour, minding my own business and enjoying the good weather, when suddenly your song came into my head. It's a freakin' catchy song! Also it reminded me that my parents were reasonable enough to get me vaccinated, so now I can enjoy nature and don't have to worry about all the nasty diseases I've never had ;)

So keep it up Zdogg! Stop "them" from spreading lies!

  • factoverfiction(dot)com/article/3146 is a list of all the testing the US Government has done the publics nuclear, biological and chemical.

So yeah trust your Government they know what is best for you!

  • We should especially make sure all kids have MMR and chickenpox shots so they can be injected with neoplastic (aka cancerous) cells made from aborted babies and which have never been tested to see if they cause cancer. These cause cancerous cells and MAY cause cancer, we don't know for sure, but hey! Everybody gets cancer nowadays anyway. Better to get cancer than to get measles.

  • @thetruthergirls Where the hell did you get "neoplastic cells made from aborted babies" from?

  • @aish1teru It's right there on the package inserts. PER-C6 and 'human diploid cells'- where do you think they get human cells from? They have to be modified, made neoplastic, so they will keep reproducing in the lab ad infitinum. watch?v=ZbhGPTB1wW0

  • I LOVE this! Good job Z!

  • I think until scientists can create a vaccine against the common cold, nobody is really going to take them seriously.

  • @ComicPenius Can't tell whether you're trolling or just retarded...

  • Immunization is fucking awesome. All babies should be given thousands of shots.

  • FANTASTIC!

If only the nutters actually would be persuaded to change their minds though... But not until their own baby suffers irreparable damage due to their antivax habits...and sometimes not even then.

  • LOVE IT...LOVE IT...LOVE IT...!!! People take their animals but are ranting about giving their kids "the pox" if they are immunized! My 5 m/o son had chickenpox and I thought the poor baby might swell up and stop breathing! PEOPLE are NUTTTTS for not doing the RIGHT THING!!!

MMMMM UUUUUU NNNNNIIIZZZZEE !!!!!!! AND WALK! (love it!)

I have a paramedic son, an ARMY MEDIC active service son, and a daughter-in law RN in the ER....the stories they tell me... you are so right on!!! T/U. JINN <3<3<3

  • YAY! If only those dildoes (the plural of dildo does contain an 'es' right?) who are screaming & ranting like rabid (also preventable with vax) hyenas would get the REAL data, not the fake, made for self profit data, & see that due to not immunizing, diseases we thought were long gone are coming back can kill little Billy/Muffy, perhaps they'd see the truth for what it is. P.S. If you choose not to immunize your little booger-eaters, keep them away from me & the ER's where they can kill many.

  • This is brilliant.

  • Awesome! Are you in internal medicine? I thought from your other video you might be EM.

  • I love you guys. SOOO freakin' funny.

The on-call one, spot on. Weekend comin'? Get ready for the mass exodus from clinic!

  • excellent work keep it up!

  • Like this comment if you're pro-vaccine and pro-saving lives!

And if you're going to show this video to nay-sayers!

  • And then another guy I did home-care work for... His unvaccinated mother was exposed to and acquired rubella while she was pregnant with him back in the 1950's. He was mentally (at age 42) about 8 months old. His body was also all twisted up, as it had been all his life. He would have been normal had his mother not acquired rubella while pregnant, and, of course, vaccination would have made such acquisition impossible.

  • I used to do home-care work and took care of a profoundly mentally-retarded woman who could do nothing but sit in a wheelchair and call out "baaa" all day long. I read her life story and saw photos of her as a toddler. When she was an unvaccinated 2YO, she got measles, followed by chicken pox, or maybe it was the other way around. In any event, she was one of the kids who became profoundly ill, and she became profoundly mentally-retarded as a result.

  • A good two decades ago, I had rabies shots. Whew! If the anti-vaccine folks were bitten by a rabid cat would they avoid the vaccines? No? Why not? Duh, they save lives.

And as almost everyone seems to forget these days, smallpox was wiped off the face of the planet, thanks to universal vaccination.

  • @andreabaker2 Good point. It's funny how the tinfoil-hat people will rant about "big pharma" or whatever, then go running to the ER when they're actually sick/injured. Just like diabetic vegans who take insulin and people who think civilization will end next year but aren't out building fortresses. They want real life to be a Dan Brown novel, but they know deep down that it isn't.

  • My cousin Dave got polio as a kid back in the 40s or 50s (I'm too polite to ask him). One of his legs is shorter than the other, and its all twisted up. He has to wear a shoe that has a heel built up a few extra inches. Of course, since he has this problem he can't exercise, either. Since he can't exercise he will likely die a few years early. Think of what a vaccination could have done for him. Parents, please vaccinate!

  • @kimchidressagemama

You should try grinding up some Rhododendron leaves into your raw milk. Rhododendron leaves are a NATURAL source of RAW Cyanide! It’ll mellow your harsh, Brah!

  • @kimchidressagemama I bet your farts smell great with all that raw milk running through your guts. You must be the queen of the dutch oven!

    @Kristine2059 "STUPID STUPID MAMA TAO"--Yes

    @hurpderp123 Thanks. I will!

  • I really want to immunize....and turn all those idioitic parents into CPS who are stupid enough to jeopardize their kids lives. Just see one kid die of Pertussis, Chicken Pox or Measles and they will RUN to the nearest vaccine clinic. This video needs played in every doctors office, every ER, every daycare and at Chucky Cheese.

  • I was in the first wave of people to get vaccined for the H1N1 flu, becuase I do asthma!

And I'm glad I got it!

  • ALL HAIL ANDREW WAKEFEILD!1 !! My lovah and Baby Daddy. The Evil medmonsters have made it their job to make my honey look like a lying foo'.

Dr. Zdogg, you are so full of lies your eyes are green! How very very dare you post this hot mess, making people think that things like Polio are anything other than a variation of Normal! Kids on crutches are adorable (even if crutches are unnatural and I'd rather let them walk around on all fours like a cat).

    LIES LIES LIES!!

  • @MamaTao1 "making people think that things like Polio are anything other than a variation of Normal! Kids on crutches are adorable" Yes, kids on crutches are adorable, but POLIO IS NOT ADORABLE and more is affected than ones legs when one gets polio. I would bet any person that has Polio would have taken a polio shot in a heart beat had it been available to the. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID MAMA TAO!

  • @MamaTao1 troll on

  • This is incredibly convinient as I was just discussing with my friend on the whole vaccination case...

    Coincidence? Probably!

  • I wonder what you would say about me drinking raw milk every day for the past four years? Probably want to take away my RIGHT to make that choice too, huh? Not a chance. I never get sick anymore. Raw milk FOREVER, vaccines NEVER.

  • @kimchidressagemama

Why do you lump raw milk in with immunizations? You're not even making sense......

  • @Shawnruss because the people who want mandatory (forced) immunizations are the same ones who support the OVERregulation of our food supply. And one of their goals is to make raw milk illegal in every state.

  • @kimchidressagemama u probably are healthy & not getting all those preventable diseases due to herd immunity, not some magical raw milk.. chances are u might get m. bovis from it

  • @kimchidressagemama so, you're against pasteurization???

  • Wakefield is a quack. Thanks to vaccines Smallpox is GONE and polio is close to being gone. When I do genealogy and when I go to small cemeteries, and look at old church and cemetery burial records and see case after case after case of kids dying of whooping cough, measles, smallpox, and other diseases that we are now vaccinated against, I could cry. I used to do home care work and cared for one guy who was profoundly retarded & physically twisted up because his mother was exposed to rubella.

  • Elaborate hoax and deliberate fraud is how the science community feels about that quack Wakefield who FAKED data and was finally compelled to retract his fraudulent study.

Psychology Today has an interesting write up on this last week. Look up the Psychology Today website for April 22, 2011 "When-egotism corrupts science".

  • Comment removed

  • I've met someone who had Polio (*before there was a vaccine for it). I'm sure he'd like to smack these people upside the head.

That might be more effective than posting all the Clinical Psychology journal articles that share actual factual research on autism.

  • Wow there's a lot of uneducated idiots out there who have way too much time to spend trolling the internet. Too bad they're not the ones that get the diseases (their parents were smart enough to vaccinate). It's their poor children that have to suffer their ignorance. Maybe we should make everyone retake high school science classes so they can understand how this all works.

  • The video is great! I'm also a hospitalist. It's funny to read comments with so much hate. If people don't agree with vaccination they always have the choice to refuse. You are only trying to educate in a fun way. The unfortunate thing is that when they get sick they come to us expecting a miracle when they have refused to follow our recommendations in the first place. Last time I check I didn't graduate with a magic wand in my hand!

Keep up the good work! Your hospitalist video was great!

  • I love it, but I most learn to not read comments on this kind of videos. The comments makes me feel sick.

  • incredible how delusional the anti-vax crowd is.

  • Or don't - I'm an infectious disease doctor. I would LOVE to treat all the unimmunized kids. An ICU stay sure pays more than a vaccine copay!

  • @truthandstudies there is more aluminum in the breast milk kids drink between shots than in the shots themselves - and many times more in infant formula. There isn't a single solid argument to link vaccines to child development problems, and studies that suggest the opposite is true (less neurologic disease in vaccinated kids). Vaccines certainly have not been shown to cause encephalopathy - read Offits latest book for a breakdown of the history behind all these antivax myths..

  • Wow. Anti-vaccine? really? That's like being anti-seatbelt. I will never understand this.

  • Oh! Well since you put it THAT way ... (snark) It's going to take a lot more than singing doctor with a condom on his head to change my mind.

  • Vaccine program compensated 101 vaccine-related autism cases in 2010 according to the US Government data released last week. This amidst 2,996 compensated claims of injury and/or death. Worst offender was DPT, followed by MMR then HepB then Influenza. Vaccines can cause encephalopathy, it's in the product monographs, brain inflammation is one of the main causes of autism. The US Government agrees that vaccines can cause autism. Informed consent MUST be the order of the day.

  • @dobyblue What fantasy world are you in?

"Vaccine program compensated 101 vaccine-related autism cases in 2010" WRONG tcompensated a *total* of 173 cases in 2010, and of those, (hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/) 1 was autism-related. **HHS has never concluded in any case that autism was caused by vaccination."

  • @ponytrax From the HRSA - "The government has never compensated, nor has it ever been ordered to compensate, any case based on a determination that autism was actually caused by vaccines. We have compensated cases in which children exhibited an encephalopathy, or general brain disease. Encephalopathy may be accompanied by a medical progression of an array of symptoms including autistic behavior, autism, or seizures" - Yeah, sure sounds to me like they don't believe vaccines can cause autism!

  • @ponytrax MMR II product monograph - CNS side effects - first listed = encephalopathy. 2 + 2 = 4 no?

  • @dobyblue More fantasy "This amidst 2,996 compensated claims of injury and/or death." -- yes, over the 23 years the NVICP program (hrsa.gov/vaccinecompensation/) has been in operation. That's how many million doses of vaccine?

  • @ponytrax Incorrect, it appears that you actually disagree with the governments records! Non-omnibus autism proceedings fiscal year 2010, compensated = 174. Non-omnibus autism proceedings compensated fiscal year 2011, compensated = 101. Total compensated autism cases since 1989 = 2,561 + Hannah Polling = 2,562.

  • @MrTheFuckery Harming children? I wonder how you feel about polio vaccines? Ah, the good ol' days, when we didn't have it, and kids had fun trying to live with their shriveled, weakened legs. Want to borrow my copy of Harrison's Principles of Medicine? It's a big 2 ton brick of a textbook that's taking up shelf space any way.

  • @MrTheFuckery Wait a minute, WHAT??!! Are you saying that Big Pharma will pay ME for making an amateur homemade video containing an anthropomorphized pathogen peeing into a coffee pot? I'm gonna march right over to Merck and demand my money, thanks for the brilliant tip, partner!

  • @ZDoggMD .......actually you get kickbacks from drugs and vaccinations, so YES, you are compensated by Big Pharma,

  • @ZDoggMD

  • @MrTheFuckery You have NO IDEA what the hell you're talking about. This video is hilarious, accurate, and in NO WAY backed by any company. If it were, I would have already seen ZDogg sauntering around the hospital wearing new gold chains and gold teeth. Total garbage? Hell no! But the "evidence" linking vaccines and autism? Now that's total garbage.

  • @MrTheFuckery

    Your self-descriptive name is self-descriptive.

  • Your right - vaccines can't possbily cause harm. I mean, having a National Vaccine Reimbursment for damages program ... what are they thinking. Oh, and parents who's children were fine, got shots, and their children were never the same again - they must be lying. ... *eye roll*

If you really are a doctor, instead why don't you TRY giving people FACTS - making those of us who do our own research and make INFORMED decisions for the SAFETY of our children look like we're 'abusers' !

  • this is a joke, right?

  • Pathetic.

  • Any "doctor" with this mentality shouldn't be CARING for people especially children. Very unethical.

  • This video is for the immature and uneducated. Parents who don't immunize do their research and educate themselves. They certainly don't watch a stupid video and come up with the conclusion vaccines cause autism. You can find all the information you need from the CDC & the manufacturers NOT internet videos about what vaccines cause.

  • @MommasTeam so what the heck are you here for????? if you dont agree with it then leave!....

  • @MommasTeam You don't seem to have a sense of humor, ma'am.

  • I love this!!!!!!

  • Join the ZDoggMD Fan Club on Facebook !!!

  • You have been awarded The Mama Tao (natural) Parental Advisory Warning sticker for this terrible video !!! Please collect the sticker from the Mama Tao blog

  • Lol I LOVED this!!! Not vaccinating should be considered child abuse.

  • You guys are awesome! I'm a pediatrician in Northern NJ, and I think this video is genius. I only wish i could be HALF as cool as ZDoggMD and Dr. Harry.

  • this is awesome ! ..but i will leave all the vaccination to YOUR children :P

  • @abradras of course so they can protect yours! How nice of us! by the way where is my check??since my kids are protecting yours shouldnt you compensate me???

  • @nicolaswirth--I looked at the study. The science seems sound, even though it is a survey study and this limits the credibility of the data enormously. My question is, where are the other studies? Why isn't there a wealth of studies such as this one? I need to see a lot more of this, with even more longitude. The epidemiological statistics are rather clear, however. This makes it a calculated risk versus theoretical risk scenario. I'll take the calculated risk.

  • eres el mejor hay que vacunar a los niños y crear conciencia en la vacunación

  • Amazing work.

Who said that education and science cant be funny?

  • @sutterbos--I am afraid you are incorrect. The outbreak of Polio in the Dominican Republic in 2000-2001 was CAUSED by the oral polio vaccine (OPV):

"This outbreak was the first in the Americas since 1991 and was associated with the circulation of a type 1 OPV-derived virus..."

See for yourself at the CDC/MMWR page for October 5, 2001. It wouldn't let me post the link on this comment.

Show me where to find the "multiple articles" and I will read them.

  • @Dee4444Dee A vaccinated vs unvaccinated study was just done in germany, surprise surprise, it found nothing! check out respectful insolence, by orac, "For the anti-vaccinationists out there: The results of a real 'vaxed versus unvaxed' study"

  • Hello. Your video is persuasive. You use music, humor and statistics (and a toilet) to get your point across. Very good rhetoric. And quite fun to watch as well. I support your vision of an immunized future for all. Please get your own HBO show.

  • I am not sure how to email you I looked but can not find it?

I just noticed your hosptalist vid ..OUTSTANDING! thanks!!! (I am an RN btw)

  • I have never been prouder to watch a video made by someone I work with. EXCELLENT job Dr. Harry! Must say, can't wait to come down and see you Monday and chat about this! I'll be sharing this the entire weekend and my hope it that the video goes entirely "viral" . . . GREAT message in an entertaining fashion. WELL done!

  • I am proud to know I work with someone this talented and amazing- Dr. Harry . . . you rocked this! I love this video and am sharing it like crazy- my hope, it goes totally viral and people wake up to the message presented in such an entertaining fashion. thank you! BTW, Cannot wait until Monday so I can tease you about this . . . "so friggin bad"

  • As a Admin Asst for the Public Health Dept /Immunization Unit...I truly would love to share this video as a display during business hours to all Public Health Staff as they walk by our department...just to see what preventative measures we work hard at for the community, which is to prevent germs and disaeases. Great Video

  • *Between 1999 and 2004 there were 128,035 adverse vaccine reactions reported to the Adverse Event Reporting System. This only represents 1-10% of all reactions, since it is a voluntary reporting system, and underreported. This makes the actual number of adverse reactions in this time period 1.28 MILLION TO 12.8 MILLION (and these are not even reported deaths).

*<5% of all exposed to Hepatitis B become chronic carriers. About 95% fully recover.

  • I know everybody's gonna just think I'm some troll, but oh well, here goes....

First of all, GREAT VIDEO, I can see you guys worked really hard on this and it is funny and entertaining, but...

I am an RN and I think it is actually YOU who need to properly educate yourself, even if you are an MD. Just a few facts:

*The Western Hemisphere was certified by the WHO as "polio free" in 1994.

*With the supportive treatments we have today, there is a far less chance of kids having to be in an Iron Lung

  • @Dee4444Dee Not true - outbreak of polio in Haiti/Dom Republic in 2000-01 caused by inconsistent vaccine use. We eradicate diseases BECAUSE of vaccines. Viruses /bacteria are always out there - as soon as we stop vaccines, the illnesses will return and kill people (multiple articles in literature on countries who stop vaccines & people start to die). Of course the kids won't need an iron lung - we have much better vents these days to help them breathe when they become paralyzed from polio.

  • omg I am an injection nurse and totally wish I could have a copy of this on a disc to give to parents!!! thank you!!!!

  • so asian, so cute :)

  • Masterpiece/

  • nice work, good to see the sciences finally realizing the worth, power and truth of the humanities

  • Awesome video, I wonder how long until anti-vax forums find this video and turn the comments section into their personal, my mommy instincts are super important over your so called science!

  • There's nothing I hate more than an anthropomorphized virus dropping a load in my bathroom.

It's why I have a tranquilizer gun loaded with vaccines.

  • Thank you so much for all those kids whose stupid parents will choose the advice of Jenny McCarthy over more than 100 years of hard, undeniable, life-giving evidence. Maybe they'll get the idea before their kids get a preventable disease.

  • Vaccination: one of the greatest medical discovery-inventions. Great video! Anyone who's anyone wants to immunize. So bad.

  • Preach it bro'!

  • Excellent job guys, now you just have to get this baby on tv.

  • Great way to raise public awareness about the value of vaccines.

  • FTW!!

  • 3:21: Fatality

  • Thanks for making this!

  • Well done, and it looks like you had a ton of fun doing it, too!
