Dio's voice is actually pretty good. I'd like that voice if they ever dubbed the Phantom Blood movie. Dio here could use an older and a bit more gritty voice, though. Not bad at all, but not perfect.

Also I actually prefer THE WORLD. Za Warudo is fine for the original dub, but it'd sound weird here. Imagine saying pretty much all the names in the series in Engrish? It'd be annoying, especially considering (Not so much in this series, I guess) the references to bands and such

In my own opionion i think this is a Fandub of the scene.because the mics just sound weird (i know a stupid reason,but listen to dio's voice a 4:04 it doesnt sound like a pro VA mic)also i think if this was a actual dub they would at last try to sound like there fighting in the scene >_>.somtimes there just plain talking when the scene calls them to act like there fighting.well thats enough out of me

the voices are okay, but they sound just... like they're trying to hard, their voices aren't deep and manly ( that's why it doesn't fit their appearance enough), except for Star Platinum.. His voice is awesome. It doesn't sell the feeling that they're really the people, but voice actors in a studio dubbing these characters only..

The thing is, they changed 'ZA WARUDO' into 'THE WORLD' but at the end the english dubber, yells 'muda, muda, muda...' when hitting the oil tanker to crush Jotaro.

Well, gues what?! Muda means futile (I know, it would be even stupider listening to Dio yell 'futile, futile, futile,' while hitting the truck), but it can also be translated to useless, which is much better.

So the translators should get their shit together before ruining an anime.

i think this is a pretty good dub but it could have been better if you kept the stand names in japanese. like shouting ZA WARUDO! just sounds better than THE WORLD! also the scene where he drops the oil tanker just needs something. only saying "an oil tanker for you!" sounds off i think you should have added more diolouge or at least stretched some of the words

well usually in english dubs the translators would leave the names of certain things like techniques and stuff like that in japanese like in bleach or naruto or alot of other hugely known animes.

so when you trasnlate some things into english it just sounds odd like it SHOULD be in japanese.
