well you have fight battle aginst prince_of_Macedon, and I remeber that you lost! ha! but you are good, Yoeeb. but not Perfect. you should try to tell what units you have and the guy you meet have. I see that you like Prussia, but try to chose other country s asswell, or otherwis others would dislike you online battle-clips.

I guess they are just supposed to tease your enemy and act as a buffer. Skirmishers can hold the enemy back because the oponnent has a hard time getting them and may be frightened that if they get too close then the infantry behind them can then shoot as well.

I will probably adopt a suicidal technique where I use line infeantry rather than skirmishers. Charging tree groups will disrup enemy formations and allow for a flanking move...Could be worth it

You always like putting skirmishers in front of your lines. Would it be better to use those slots for line infantry and use them as you would skirmishers?

Or do you use skirmishers because they are cheaper?

because skirmishers usually have longer range, and since they are more spread out, die slower.

They also kneel down as they fire it looks like, so regular line infantry can fire over them as well.
