Luckily, other than his dad's

Korean eyes and my oddly-shaped head, he seems to look more like his mother's side of the family.

I do hope that I can guide him in apreciating the cultural heritage of all the lines that crossed to bring him into the world, and to respect the differences.

The child sees a Grandparent and can see only love. There is no judgement, measuring up, comparison, rules...just love. So the child completely opens up and learns how to truely be themselves. There is no fear of the self when with Grandpa. This is the teacher of empathy, the basis of all common decency.
