  • Hey dude, thanks for explaining how to do this in photoshop, which your title says you do. FAIL

  • yay, thanks

  • Simple , fast , well explained

  • best part of two hours I was trying to change this one thing in one of my photos! if only I found you sooner.

  • How can you change just like the color of the fender or something, not the whole truck?

  • clear and precise tut. well done.

  • oohhh nice!!!

  • is that a cs2

  • AMAAAAAZING VIDEO MAN! GOOD WORK! LOVED IT! IT WAS SO SIMPLE! THANKS AGAIN! ^_^

  • The way your talking makes me feel stupid but thanks :)

  • what keeps the color change only on the truck since the selection also includes some of the bushes etc???

  • @airemare1

he clicked the dropper on the YELLOW!

  • This looks amazing. Here is how you do it on the full version of photoshop CS5. First, make sure you have the right layer selected (click on it).

Then you go to Image -> Adjustments (2nd option) -> Replace Color (2nd from bottom).

The same box pops up. (I was trying this b4 with wrong layer selected and there was no Hue option, only Lightness, and preview did not work.)

This works great for primary colors. But what about if you have a specific color you want to fill with? Like BRONZE?

  • it doesen't work on photoshop cs 3

  • dude, this is everthing a tutorial video should be. quick and to the point, tells me EXACTLY what I need to know and nothing more. you even had the truck outlined ahead of time so i didn't have to watch you struggle with that like some videos do. i liked it so much i'm leavin' 5 stars behind as soon as i'm done typing this little note. have a great day!

  • i love jordan ;)

  • Wow easy! Thanks !

  • what tool does he use?

  • if you are using cs3, what do you go to?

  • image>adjustments>replace color

  • so this is how you do it, i was previously using the replace color color without using the marque tool, so this is probably what i miss.

    thanks man

  • it's really easy once you learn that marquee tool. you can also feather the marquee to also simplify it. you can also select the area and change the hue which also works.

  • So easy, thanks heaps. :)

  • ur the best :D i did mark line after line with lasso and change colour in diffrent way but this this is thebest way thx man :D
