I have a question for you Gryphon. Whats to stop someone with the right tools getting a normal 20p and removing the date, then selling it for loads of money. Is there any way to tell the difference?
It may only be worth '20 fucking pennies' to you InvisibleRaw, But the two I had have sold for a total of £736. As a side the Royal Mint has increased the buy back for these coins to £150.
It is blatantly obvious that you are not a collector
i have 2 of these rare undated 20 pence coins.. the price will keep on going up year after year and i have seen 1 20 pence coin sell for £215 pound on Ebay, i have hurd Royal MInt as increased the price to buy 1 coin for £100 pounds as they are trying to cover up the mistake, last mistake Royal Mint did was over 300years ago and will less then 20,000 of the undated released, they are rare and will come even more rare if people sell them back to Royal Mint... My advice is hold onto them!
