  • I don't think it necessarily means we get "evil ideas" from god in your minds. Berkeley says that the sensations we may perceive in the external world are being perceived by God. Your personal beliefs, thoughts, etc... are independent of being a perceived sensation.

  • Not sure about Leibniz philosophy.

    Berkeley said the external world was made up of objects that were "perceived" and thus were ideas. In his view "ideas" just means objects that are only senses or perceived and have no independent existence of their own.

    Not sure if it affects free will.

    Yes it could be considered panentheism in that it allows for us to be connected to God but not be fully god.
