Yes, but the cilincrical lens is very expensive, and the lens normal is good. And with less distance the blue is more powerfull.
I will publish a new laser with more power in a few days.

What you think, does $4 per piece is expensive?
Look at google: surplusshed item l3271
and you will found BK7 glass (not good as fused quartz, but, hey!) cylindric lens for only $4 or $15 for 5 pieces. It is worth buying!

try using a cilindrical lens like from a laser printer to focus the beam on the dye cavity. You'l get one hell of a dye laser ... more important it will be a blue laser (i love blue)
