  • Is the background supposed to look like a Confederate flag?

  • these 2 make me laugh so hard my side hurts.

  • damn CNR clowned Brett sumthin terribul loool. I guess he wasnt invited to anymore of her BH house parties loool

  • Poor Brett.

  • Charles Nelson Reilly: OUT LOUD & PROUD before it was fashionable or accepted. What a witty, brilliant sense of humor! The banter between him and Bret was just hysterically funny. Thanks for all of the laughs, Charles! R.I.P. :)

  • For you youngster this was when day time TV was just fabulous and there were only three network

  • A funny funny and talented man !! I thought he was great!

  • Charles Nelson Reilly was a mighty man, a kinda man you'd never disrespect.

  • Jim Staahl FTW!

  • was that robin quivers of the howerd stern show on there?

  • Hey the difference in rent between living on one side of Olympic and the other is a lot!

  • Culver City postmark Beverly Hills. Ha.

  • This has to be one of the funniest Match Game clips I have seen. Brett and Charles were quite the pair.

  • Game shows these days are too serious and not humorous enough. Not to mention everything has to be a big DRAMA fest. Damn.

  • I would love to see (Maybe he did the show?????) Don Rickles doing Match Game.

  • He used his sarcastic comments to influence commedy, RIP.

  • I used to rush home from school to see this game show. The last good game show!

  • Charles, Brett and Gene are just making them laugh up there!

    They were great!

  • Charles and Brett were brilliant together, and Brett was awesome in that she could laugh at herself. I think they got along well off camera too.

  • CNR is a funny song. Look it up.

  • HA!!! HAHA!!! HAHA!!! she walks everywhere cuz she has to there ain't a bus that goes near there!

ahhh back when tv had plain subtle humor...

    RIP CNR

  • HAAA! The banter between Brett and Charles is top notch here!

The difference between Beverly Hills and Olympic Blvd. is sooo Los Angeles.

Olympic was already slummy 30+ years ago!

  • "Culiver City gets the postmark" Dang, what a great line!

Also, who was that strikingly handsome man at 0:28

  • Watch your language and learn how to spell, "survivorofhell'. Your comment has been deleted.

  • i was just wondering about if he was still alive. guess not

  • Perhaps Hope Lange, Edward Mulhare, and Charles are playing the Ghost and Mrs muir again, with Rita Shaw.

  • Nelson-Reilly was crazy! He was wild as "Hoodoo" (the evil magician) on the saturday morning Sid & Marty Kroft show "Lidsville"

  • Lidsville always creeped me out. (Something about that poor kid going into that dark room and falling into that giant hat.) CNR was great as Hoodoo, only I think I prefered him as Jose` Chung from The X-Files.

  • The contestant looks like Robin Quivers

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE this :)

  • Charles and Brett... The dynamic duo!

  • It is amazing Charles & Brett never met before they did the show. But oh how they clicked instantly!

  • Paul Lynde was also very funny. He and CNR were gay when it wasn't "in" to be gay.

I'm a gay man, & I wonder where our community is going There are tons of lisping, swishing queers on reality shows, fashion shows, etc.

Meanwhile, in CA the whole State will be voting re: legality of gay marriages. People may become "un-married" !

I think America is OK with LISPING gays, but not regular gays and lesbians being married.

    (Sorry, off topic a bit.)

  • Fear is a powerful emotion isn't it? Fear stirs anger, confusion, sadness, anxiety, and frustration. I am a man and I love women. It is a shame the length people go to in this country to keep certain people down. Why are people so afraid of gays? Fear of the unknown is powerful stuff

  • The chemistry between CNR and Brett was real and we will probably never see this on a gameshow today. RIP to both of them

  • Back then, my aunts thought people like CNR & Liberace were straight ! Now we revere CNR as an icon to FREEDOM. He was always himself.

  • Don't forget about Paul Lynde.

  • I guess you need to know the street system of Beverly Hills to get this one...

  • Charles and Brett are both dearly missed...and if you look closely, you will notice they are both wearing identical eyeglasses!

  • Is that Bo Svenson up there?

  • He was actually a brilliant actor and teacher.

  • very sad that both brett and charles died in the same year...so R.I.P to both of them.

  • Elkahatchee9 ... ye shall keep it clean. Your comment has been deleted.

  • bizarre comments

  • R.I.P hoodoo :(:(

  • Gene Rayburn, Brett Somers, and Charles Nelson Reilly are playing the Match Game somewhere up above and the angels are laughing their wings off. You all are sorely missed. RIP Gang.

    Sunday Night - May 27th, 2007.

  • love it!!!!

  • CNR FOR LIFE!

  • Long live CNR!

  • Charles is SOOOOO funny!!!!

  • I wonder what it was like in Beverly Hills back then?

  • party party party!

  • They didn't get much done on this version of the Match Game, but it was very funny (#1 rating.) Unlike the preceding version on NBC in the 1960's - not very funny, but they got alot done.

  • Charles Nelson Reilly rocks!
