That's one of the biggest differences between MJ and KB24. Kobe would take the same amount of shots but it would all be jump shots. That's bad. That is why Jordan shot over 50% from the field and kobe doesn't. That is also why Lebron shoots 50% from the field. Kobe avoids the punishment inside and MJ and Lebron embrace it.

People forget the Bulls were the underdogs in this series. I remember watching this series as a kid and being scared to death of the Suns with the way Barkley and Co. were playing that year. But when the Bulls took it to the Suns in Phoenix to go up 2-0 you could see the Suns were in Shock. I was in shock to at how Michael and the bulls raised their level of play in these finals.

The reason MJ is the greatest is he's the only SG in NBA history to win 3 or more championships without a dominant big man. The NBA has always and still is a league of big guys. But MJ soared above them all, leading the NBA in all time pts per game and shooting just under 5O% for his career.

Jordan shot the ball maybe over 40 times in this game if i am not mistaken. But those were good shots because they were all driving to the basket. That's one of the biggest differences between MJ and KB24. Kobe would take the same amount of shots but it would all be jump shots. That's bad. That is why Jordan shot over 50% from the field and kobe doesn't. That is also why Lebron shoots 50% from the field. Kobe avoids the punishment inside and MJ and Lebron embrace it.

i don't think that i saw this when it originally aired, but clearly Jordan and Sir Charles were both putting on a brilliant performance. however, that shot of Barkley on the floor at the end of the game pretty much says it all. it's like he was thinking to himself, "damn, we gave our absolute best... and he still defeated us!" this video gave me a better understanding of the depth of their respect and friendship for each other.

Mike did have a great supporting cast. But when he left for 2 years..they didnt win a title. Once he came back they won another 3 straight. MJ doesnt lose. He's a winner. MJ came back from retirement and gave the Bulls their 2nd 3peat! It shows that if Jordan remains with the Bulls and Pippen decided to leave, the Bulls could still win a championship.
