You know, this is NOT amazing. This is totally sad. These kids shouldn't have to pass some physical test to be "accepted" or "cool" or "influential". This is absolutely disgusting. Do we have any stats on the number of kids that have died in the name of "high school sports"? Just trying to be that incredible, amazing, able to do anything, never doubting the coach kind of kid? . It was written and created by a small town pastor that is also making a feature film and has written four books. You don't want to miss it! This Movie was VERY inspiring and gave me so much hope and joy!!! I loved how when this Man got down, he just gave it to God and let him work in his life. What an awesome example of how we as Christians need to give our very best and praise the Lord in the good times and the bad. Great movie and I would recommend this to anyone.

@5pectron It means that if we will surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and TRUST that God has a plan for us and that God will never leave us alone in any situation, he will continually bless us with everything we need in life. God never said that we would have perfect lives, or that there would never be trials or heartache. But, he did say that he would never leave our side and that if we trust in him, we will always have hope for a brighter tomorrow, no matter what the circumstances are today.

I'm in BootCamp and for homework we had to watch this. This will be my 2nd time watching and every time, I get my energy back. Sometimes when you are working on things and you don't see any immediate response, our beliefs get tested. I lean on the fact that I will do what I can and let GOD do what I cannot. God always gets me there every time.
God is truly good! my husband gave me advice as to how I can motivate the youth at their leadership training conference in August... I was a bit discouraged because I never did anything like this before... this clip has truly INSPIRED and MOTIVATED me and gave me direction on the youth leadership conference... This is trick Gym Jones used years ago to get people past preconceived notions of their "max lift." Always works. But sometimes results in injuries if you get an under-trained athlete with an over motivated coach.
coach is right. God has given everybody special capabilities and abilities. he does not want you to waste it, and this video was a good lesson. i'm so glad my youth pastor showed me this, because it shows me exactly that God has given us these abilities for a reason.
every time i want to give up i think about this part of the film and the coaching yelling to keep going and i make that extra last energy left to keep going in dance !

This Movie was VERY inspiring and gave me so much hope and joy!!! I loved how when this Man got down, he just gave it to God and let him work in his life. What an awesome example of how we as Christians need to give our very best and praise the Lord in the good times and the bad. Great movie and I would recommend this to anyone.

@5pectron It means that if we will surrender our lives to Jesus Christ and TRUST that God has a plan for us and that God will never leave us alone in any situation, he will continually bless us with everything we need in life. God never said that we would have perfect lives, or that there would never be trials or heartache. But, he did say that he would never leave our side and that if we trust in him, we will always have hope for a brighter tomorrow, no matter what the circumstances are today.

@bcbbcb1 what about people who live fantastic lives that aren't christian or even religious? I'm not sure if you're one of these people but i come from a public school in dallas and huge amount of the people in my graduating class believed in a god has a plan thing and as a result have very little ambition and even if they have taken it too far, the simple belief that something like "always have hope for a brighter tomorrow" has kept them from trying to fix their lives themselves

All these things are material foolishness and only give temporary satisfaction. All the things of this World shall pass, but the things of the Lord shall endureth forever. Instead of wasting our time trying to collect material things, which mean nothing in the kingdom of heaven, we please God and in return, he blesses us with all the things we need.

@5pectron Yes he didn't but look this movie is showing that if You won't give up and put your all hopes up and have faith on God, he'll give a way for you to achieve your Goal, He'll give you strength to achieve that goal your Goal, if you accept him as Your Lord and Savior in Your Life, "God Will Carry us Through Life if we Let him" that means, if you surrender all the things you have (not materials things but your feelings your sins everything you have in your heart)

I'm in BootCamp and for homework we had to watch this. This will be my 2nd time watching and every time, I get my energy back. Sometimes when you are working on things and you don't see any immediate response, our beliefs get tested. I lean on the fact that I will do what I can and let GOD do what I cannot. God always gets me there every time.

God is truly good! my husband gave me advice as to how I can motivate the youth at their leadership training conference in August... I was a bit discouraged because I never did anything like this before... this clip has truly INSPIRED and MOTIVATED me and gave me direction on the youth leadership conference... coach is right. God has given everybody special capabilities and abilities. he does not want you to waste it, and this video was a good lesson. i'm so glad my youth pastor showed me this, because it shows me exactly that God has given us these abilities for a reason.

@TheTigerclaw1 From one Tiger to another... I show this to people when they are down, when I want to motivate them, to sales teams I've been on, and to *anyone* who could use a boost in their lives. I love this scene. I don't even care for high school football---but I loved this movie and also "Remember the Titans". There are lessons from sports which can fit in so much of life :)
