Love this song too... We've been playing this on our Worship team... I was surprised to see Chris show the intro as the B note to the A rather than Ab [see his description at about 5 min 55sec in this video]. I'm fairly certain the lead guitar is on Ab - any thoughts?
Yeah, he's playing it wron--, er, *different* from the record. I guess it's his song; he can play it however he wants. Anyway, I play an Ab on the 11th fret of the A string.
in the event anyone is like me, the verse chris refers to is not in psalm 61, it's psalm 68:1, "let god arise, let his enemies be scattered." that is all.
hello fellow brothers and sisters in Christ i am posting videos of guitar on my web page please watch, rate or comment on them and tell me what you want to learn or any song requests thanks! God Bless!
:) I love this song! I've never heard Chris sing this until just now. We sing it @ my youth group and I'm so used to Andrew singing it, I didn't recognise it at first! :)
The more I see / hear this guy talk the more I like him. He has a great spirit. I love his Chris Guitar 101 "Keep it simple, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play it." Pretty modest guy.
we sang this today at church...God is amazing XD He was DEFINITELY there at church today :)

Is this Song also about dying to self? so that God can shine through us?? Cause it seems like it after listening to DHT- Curry Blake

Psalm 68:1
May God arise, may his enemies be scattered; may his foes flee before him.

I've heard it done both ways. I prefer the A myself. It punches the lead part a little more.

Haha, I like how Matt's clothes change from the intro to the actual interview. Blue shirt, to red shirt with a jacket!
But, indeed, I do love this song so much... And check out Matt Maher too! Great guy with great music.
