in 1st grade, i had a recurring dream that i fell in the mississippi river and the rowing team went by and they saw me, and couldn't get me out. this started about a week after a field trip to a park by the river.
Evan, Just letting oyu know, I showed my boyfriend this video and had to pause it halfway through because he couldn't stop laughing, he says you are ridiculously funny.
I used to have recurring dreams all the time. I now have recurring themes and they are usually nightmares. They are really weird and people I know usually end up getting beheaded. Morbid. I know... lol
The weirdest dream I ever had was where I was talking to this little girl who was an angel (i think because I watched some show the night before of "are angels real") So we had a nice conversation, we were laughing and playing and what not. I wake up happy and then I realized I forgot everything about that dream other than how she looked like. So Im waiting for her to appear again in my dreams, been over a year but still waiting! :D
The most awesome dream I've ever had was when me and Dr Who were fighting a dinosaur and using a stairwell to take cover because, of course, everyone knows a dinosaur cant climb stairs... the weirdest part is that I had never watched Dr Who before... but I have never missed an episode since

I've only ever had one recurring dream from when I was about 3 that I had for months. I would be in my toddler bed at night, and yelled downstairs to my parents, asking for a drink of water. When they didn't come, I went to investigate. When I got to their room, I found a giant slimy monster in a purple bathrobe on their bed, so I ran downstairs to tell them and they responded with "Don't worry, he's glued there, he can't get you." WHA...?!
This year for class, we read World War Z, and my school's annual play was Night of the Living Dead. Thus, while reading the book and after seeing the play, I had nightmares about zombies. Not always in the same place, but they would always eat my friends, and then corner me. I then would wake up, straight as a ruler in bed, not daring to move or roll over because there must of been zombies outside my window.

One involved me walking down the street with my best friend and this green car would always come up and shoot my friend, she would collapse and i would start running. Lucky for my at this point the car would break down and the man would have to run after me. My legs would always collapse and I would have to watch him kill me...
When I was little, maybe 5 or 6, I had a dream that there were these ants that could make people attack you. It was my sister and me alone in our house, and I was putting blankets under the doors so the ants couldn't get in. I remember seeing my neighbors coming to attack me, and then waking up. I'm also very logical in my dreams as I always lock all the places the murderer can get in.
I have a dream where I wake up in a tunnel and get chased by my own echoes, and one where I'm on a beach in swimming shorts, and decide to go for a swim. Upon completing this swim I clamber out of the ocean to find that I wasn't wearing swimming shorts, but my favourite pair of Jean shorts that are now wet through and completely ruined.
I used to have nightmares where I would wake up and hallucinate that I was still in my nightmare. My eyes were open, I was awake, but some part of the nightmare was still in the room with me, usually the thing that was trying to kill me in my nightmare. It was terrifying.
I remember when I was 5, I had a dream, that banjo (from Banjo Kazooie) Would chase me all over the house. I'd hide in the closet, but then he'd come and find me, and throw me in his backpack. I still play that game but I never look at Banjo the same way.
I've had repeats of dreams (sometimes several years later), but nothing that I would call "recurring". I've also dreamt sequels to dreams - sometimes later that night, or the next day, or again, sometimes several years later.
when i was 5 i had this dream where i opened the door to my school and blood poured out than i walked though the school knee deep in blood. the next day at school i got a bloody nose cause i was so scared the entire day
Every so often, I had a dream about Voldemort. I'd be in some house with a ton of people I know. We all know that Voldy's going to come and get us, and I think it's because he was hunting down my brother. Most of the dream is us all freaking out and getting ready and being scared to death because he could show up any second. Then he'd come, I'd be hiding, and when he found me, either I'd wake up or he'd threaten to kill me, then I'd wake up. It's really scary until I remember he's fictional.
i would have this recurrring dream that i was being chased but i never saw who was chasing me i would just run forever through this field and then an old english city to a dock and then all the sudden what ever was chasing me was right there and the dock would turn into this really tall building and then to a train bridge and then it would end right before i gott caught and start over but happen just a little differently
My recurring dream is actually a memory... I dream that I am falling looking at a blue sky. I used to also have a recurring dream that my family is walking on this train track that goes over a valley. The tracks are shut down but then a train comes & we have to jump. Then at the bottom of the valley is straw & so we are all ok.
Both are do to the fact that I fell out of a window when I was three. I was looking up at the sky for a bit as I flipped & then landed face first into pine straw.

I dreamt that had been bitten by one of her dogs and it was all infected. She didn't want to go to the hospital incase her dog gets put down and her parents don't look after her so she didn't get the wound cleaned so I woke up in my room and I started planning what I would have to do to help: I was going to bring in seline solution and take her to the school nurse, then I started wondering whether she should get a tetanus injection becasue we had one in school two weeks earlier. lol
You were in one of my dreams. I had a folder for you and you wouldn't stop tweeting me, but seeing as how we're in different states, I couldn't just walk it over. Then I went to a hockey game and it was like bumper cars hockey. I walked out and you were there in a blue suit. I gave you the folder and turned around to find the arena had become a giant American Eagle. You started shopping, but had on a different suit. Then I saw a friend and you were in another freaking suit. I don't even know.
there was a time when I dreamt alot about death. not just me dying, but generally people dying (wood-people getting murdered by wooden spears, my cat drown, family members getting sick and die) and once I dreamt we played tag at school in p.e.. but with syringes. and I got one stuck in my throat and I suffocated
when i was younger i had this dream where there was a monster that chased me through my house. i would jump up on the arm of my couch to look around a corner to see if it was there, and always it would claw my back. it hurt pretty bad, and i kept having it..... but i don't really have nightmares anymore. i always wake myself up. :)
i forgot how awesome your videos were, Evan. as for my reoccurring dreams i used to have this dream where i was in some sort of forest with Whoopy Goldberg and Oprah where there were these mutant trees that could reach out to your neck and squeeze you to death, this was after i'd watched 'The Color Purple' as a child.
I have dreams every night but they're weird and really sometimes make absolutely no sense once I wake up. Sometimes I try to explain it to someone but I seem more weird than the dream itself. :P I wish Hank was in my dreams!
I do a lot of theatre, and always, I will have nightmares during tech week and production week. There was one during the Importance of Being Earnest where all the actors decided to swap places with the techies on closing night. And then my director violently yelled at us all. Then there was one during Macbeth where I thought I had killed the entire cast of opening nigh...then one during Pippin where I went from LSM/Floater to playing the lead role and I didn't know any of the songs...yeah. @PlaidChick15 I've been in a few plays and I still have dreams about opening night and how nothing seems to go right, or the entire cast is doing the play in this dirty cafeteria room. Glad to know I'm not the only one being highly affected by the theater department!
Sometimes I'll wake up in the morning and then go right back to sleep... but I'll DREAM that I've gotten up and started getting ready! Then when I finally wake up, I'm super confused and my mom with like "WHAT THE HECK?!" xD
My brain is one weird place. I'm always having dreams about being chased by something but I can't move. Where I then go onto yell at whatever or whoever's chasing me to stop because I can't move and they're being unfair.

This is really strange because I had a dream last night that I have had many times before. More of a night mare I guess. This strange.... let's go with monster was after me and I was all alone running from it and it was closing in on me.... Then I woke up just before it got to me and realized "it is 5:20am and I am literally alone in my house. this actually is creepy" at which point I changed thoughts and fell back asleep.
i have this really disturbing recurring dream where I'm in a wonderful and happy world that has an elevator in the very center of a lush field. once i enter the elevator and it starts going down i look down and on the skin right below my elbows and the skin right above my knees there is a deep and neat square cut out of my flesh. and once i start freaking out the cuts start itching and then i find that maggots are in my wounds. I KNOW completely disturbing and i dont know why! Im a happy person!
I have had nightmares within nightmares. But what I don't like is when I'm in the middle of a dream and I start to fall, not off a building or a cliff, oh no... my subconscious is screaming, "RED ALERT YOU ARE FALLING INTO THE BED!" and just as though I were asleep in a chair and someone pushed me, I jerk awake.
I had a dream where every time I snapped my fingers, I could change my state of matter. So I could turn into a puddle of water, or an apparition of mist and float away. It was freaking sweet, until the police froze me whilst I was in liquid form and I became trapped. :(

The Lucky Charms guy haunts my dreams. It stared with a dream where I was chasing him around an abandoned house, and he was laughing and shooting rainbows at me. I finally caught him in a cage trap, and then time slowed down and he said, "You may have caught me, but you will never catch the charms!" Then I think I woke up. Now I see him sometimes in nightmares, but only fleetingly.
A few times a year I have dreams about a T Rex. This has been going on since my childhood. The scene is always different - I've been in buildings, houses, abandoned towns, and college campuses, but the "plot" of the dream is always the same: I am being chased/hunted down by the T Rex and I am terrified. I hide in places where I think it won't find me and where I think it won't fit, like a small bathroom. It always finds me, and it always fits. In the end, it always eats me and I wake up.
@geesealyse I have the exact same dreams! The last one I had I was in Menards or something and I hid in the bottom shelf behind a bunch of boxes. It still found me and managed to eat me once again.

I usually have tornado dreams in many different locations except I'M IN THE TORNADOS NIGHTMARES. Because I'm gonna catch it! Nah, I do like to stay on the outskirts and take pictures, but it's still frightening.
@Lizmo21 this was the one thing I was wondering if anyone would point out. However, that was all a dream, don't you see? In reality, my sheets would be on the floor after my tossing and turning and yeti-wrestling!
When I was little I dreamed I was in the car going through a drive thru. And EVERY TIME my mom would have to get out of the car for some reason (like she dropped money or something) and the car would DRIVE AWAY to God knows where and crash, waking me up. Traumatizing.
I don't know why, but this made me laugh a lot. NICE OWL CITY PAJAMAS. That was probably the first thing I noticed. And I don't have recurring dreams. But there is this thing where, in my dreams, my teeth keep falling out one by one, and then I don't have teeth, and it's weird. Apparently my dad has had similar dreams before. It's strange. Most of my dreams are actually really boring, bizarre dreams about school, and people I barely talk to are in them.
I had a dream where I was in jail and my friends were in jail and we were the Powerpuff Girls and then the artist, Chuck Close, tried to rape us, and there was a heated chase scene involving a Coke segway. It ended with me turning in a Dora bouncy ball and landing into a sink, where my neighbor washed me clean.
(con) Anyway, the Nazi officers were yelling at me to run faster and I just randomly became paralyzed where I was standing and I couldn't run any more. So one of them shot me...and I died. I woke up because I had stopped breathing...
To this day I still have dreams about being in an American concentration camp. Like I'd be in my modern day room and the Gestapo would just barge in and drag me by my hair outside where the trains were waiting...from there we'd get to the camp where they forced everyone to run in circles (like a dog chasing its tail) until they either vomited or just flat out died. I used to have a reoccurring dream where is it took place in a medieval village and it ended when I become the Empire because for some reason when I was young I didn't think about the fact that one village was kind of a sucky village.
I also used to dream that all my big soft toys would come to life, strap me down onto a surgical table and then start operating on me. Their faces were cast in the shadows but they had these creepy malicious voices and yeah.. it was not pretty. They didn't even show me the courtesy of giving me some anaesthetic so I was awake and "felt" it all.
When I was a kid I had pretty messed up dreams too.. I had a recurring dream that I was in a car with Barney, and some other kids as well, and he was driving towards a forest. He got out of the car, told us to stay inside, then disappeared off into the forest. Then all I heard was a gun shot and I saw birds rising up out of the trees. Either Barney got killed, or Barney did the killing. Unfortunately I never outsmarted that dream!
On Saturday I dreamt that my cleaning lady came and threw out the plants that I'm using as a science experiment that I had already royally screwed up. I woke up in a panic. I just don't want to disappoint my partner.
lol one time i had a dream that me and my brother were in an argument, so we started fighting... turns out i got out of my bed (i wasn't sleepwalking, i was awake, i just thought i was still dreaming) went to my brothers room, and punched him. then i immediatly was like ''wait a second... how did he randomly end up sleeping in his bed in the middle of our fight?!" and yeah.... woopsies.. As a kid I had a dream every night, where my brothers were playing cricket with my neighbour and his dad, so I'd go to my neighbour's house to say hi to his mum, but instead of finding her sitting outside the house there were tigers walking out of the garage, and so I would run around to their side fence, where there would be more tigers, only this time they were white tigers. It wasn't until I chose to fight them that I stopped having it. Now I'm a big lucide dreamer.
I used to have a dream almost every night when i was younger that i was at a funeral and there was a construction sight near by and so i would walk over and then the construction worker would pull me under the rope and kill me with his shovel, then the dream would change and i would think i was at that same funeral, but really it was my own. I was kinda dark to lol
Last night I had the most vivid dream where I "remembered" something about this particular dreamland from a previous dream and then went and accomplished a goal I was going to achieve today. Weird.

this one time my scool was out for a week due to snow/ice (i live in texas, no salt trucks) and i had this dream i was in school, shortly after starting the dream, i realized i coudn't be in school because it was cancelled.
I proceded to kill everyone i didn't like in the school.
Oh lawd I could talk about dreams forever. Now, I do have reoccurring dreams, but I also have reoccurring things IN the dreams. Like, I can't walk or run and have to crawl, lights are too bright I have to squint, doors won't close correctly and swing open both ways but won't stay shut, and the lights won't work. Oh, and I can always levitate. But not when people are around. :( Or reoccurring areas, like the beach, the mall/airport (they always seem to meld together) my middle school and stuff.
I imagine you as an elderly man in a retirement home. Constantly having dreams and sleep walking. In the end, they kicked you out. You were annoying. But this was wonderful!

In the only recurring dream I've ever had, I'm in this old house I've never seen before locking myself into a room with a bunch of people I've never seen before because there are zombies trying to get in. YES, I am a zombie dreamer.
I always used to dream that I had to get somewhere, but I couldn't walk. I'd end up going really slowly on my knees or ankles cuz my feet couldn't hold me. I also always dream of missing the bus, but every time it's altered in some way. Last time I dreamt that I missed the bus, I ended up grabbing onto the door handle and getting thrown across a forest when the bus went around a turn.
When I was about 5 untill I was about 13 I had the same dream every night and it scared me so so much, I can't excatally remeber what happends or why I was so scared but it started coming back and now I'm scared to sleep...Wah :(
As a child, I dreamt of car crashes, since I was very young I dreamt of driving cars and crasing them. I remember one of them was me sitting in the drivers seat playing the guitar with my feet up on the wheel. On the shotgun seat was my childhood bear Micas, swaying her body with the music and smiling. Next thing I know, we crashed.
I also dreamt a lot of falling down ancient greek steps and of tsunamis.
Yesterday, I dreamt I had PE class, which I dont anymore, and I showed up naked. In the changing rooms, I took my clothes off and then went to class. After class, I went down the escalator of my school, which definitely exists, and logged on to the computer and started calling people on their school blogs fat, and telling them they're stupid for not losing weight. At the end of the dream, I told them I was sorry.
One day, I dreamt that Hank and Katherine welcomed me in their home, and showed me their closet full of travelling cases. I remember Hank was trying to close one of the bags and it was full, so he planked on it, with his arms streched, and I laughed and then he looked at me with that Hanky smile.
XD when i heard the alarm going off i thought it was actually in my room, i was about to pause the video to check what the heck it was, then you finally reacted to it
-When I was little, I had recurring THEMES to my dreams. The most common one that I can remember is that I would be on the verge of a terrible death (like falling off a cliff), I'd call for help to my mom. But unfortunately she'd be on the phone, would shush me and continue with her conversation, while I fall to my death... Horrible, I know.

I used to have nightmares where I would wake up and hallucinate that I was still in my nightmare. My eyes were open, I was awake, but some part of the nightmare was still in the room with me, usually the thing that was trying to kill me in my nightmare. It was terrifying.

I remember when I was 5, I had a dream, that banjo (from Banjo Kazooie) Would chase me all over the house. I'd hide in the closet, but then he'd come and find me, and throw me in his backpack. I still play that game but I never look at Banjo the same way.

Every so often, I had a dream about Voldemort. I'd be in some house with a ton of people I know. We all know that Voldy's going to come and get us, and I think it's because he was hunting down my brother. Most of the dream is us all freaking out and getting ready and being scared to death because he could show up any second. Then he'd come, I'd be hiding, and when he found me, either I'd wake up or he'd threaten to kill me, then I'd wake up. It's really scary until I remember he's fictional.

i would have this recurrring dream that i was being chased but i never saw who was chasing me i would just run forever through this field and then an old english city to a dock and then all the sudden what ever was chasing me was right there and the dock would turn into this really tall building and then to a train bridge and then it would end right before i gott caught and start over but happen just a little differently

My recurring dream is actually a memory... I dream that I am falling looking at a blue sky. I used to also have a recurring dream that my family is walking on this train track that goes over a valley. The tracks are shut down but then a train comes & we have to jump. Then at the bottom of the valley is straw & so we are all ok.
Both are do to the fact that I fell out of a window when I was three. I was looking up at the sky for a bit as I flipped & then landed face first into pine straw.

I dreamt that had been bitten by one of her dogs and it was all infected. She didn't want to go to the hospital incase her dog gets put down and her parents don't look after her so she didn't get the wound cleaned so I woke up in my room and I started planning what I would have to do to help: I was going to bring in seline solution and take her to the school nurse, then I started wondering whether she should get a tetanus injection becasue we had one in school two weeks earlier. lol

Then I went to a hockey game and it was like bumper cars hockey. I walked out and you were there in a blue suit. I do a lot of theatre, and always, I will have nightmares during tech week and production week. There was one during the Importance of Being Earnest where all the actors decided to swap places with the techies on closing night. And then my director violently yelled at us all. Then there was one during Macbeth where I thought I had killed the entire cast of opening nigh...then one during Pippin where I went from LSM/Floater to playing the lead role and I didn't know any of the songs...yeah. This is really strange because I had a dream last night that I have had many times before. More of a night mare I guess. This strange.... let's go with monster was after me and I was all alone running from it and it was closing in on me.... Then I woke up just before it got to me and realized "it is 5:20am and I am literally alone in my house. this actually is creepy" at which point I changed thoughts and fell back asleep.

i have this really disturbing recurring dream where I'm in a wonderful and happy world that has an elevator in the very center of a lush field. once i enter the elevator and it starts going down i look down and on the skin right below my elbows and the skin right above my knees there is a deep and neat square cut out of my flesh. and once i start freaking out the cuts start itching and then i find that maggots are in my wounds. I KNOW completely disturbing and i dont know why! Im a happy person!

The Lucky Charms guy haunts my dreams. It stared with a dream where I was chasing him around an abandoned house, and he was laughing and shooting rainbows at me. I finally caught him in a cage trap, and then time slowed down and he said, "You may have caught me, but you will never catch the charms!" Then I think I woke up. Now I see him sometimes in nightmares, but only fleetingly.

A few times a year I have dreams about a T Rex. This has been going on since my childhood. The scene is always different - I've been in buildings, houses, abandoned towns, and college campuses, but the "plot" of the dream is always the same: I am being chased/hunted down by the T Rex and I am terrified. I hide in places where I think it won't find me and where I think it won't fit, like a small bathroom. It always finds me, and it always fits. In the end, it always eats me and I wake up.

I don't know why, but this made me laugh a lot. NICE OWL CITY PAJAMAS. That was probably the first thing I noticed. And I don't have recurring dreams. But there is this thing where, in my dreams, my teeth keep falling out one by one, and then I don't have teeth, and it's weird. Apparently my dad has had similar dreams before. It's strange. Most of my dreams are actually really boring, bizarre dreams about school, and people I barely talk to are in them.

I also used to dream that all my big soft toys would come to life, strap me down onto a surgical table and then start operating on me. Their faces were cast in the shadows but they had these creepy malicious voices and yeah.. it was not pretty. They didn't even show me the courtesy of giving me some anaesthetic so I was awake and "felt" it all.

When I was a kid I had pretty messed up dreams too.. I had a recurring dream that I was in a car with Barney, and some other kids as well, and he was driving towards a forest. He got out of the car, told us to stay inside, then disappeared off into the forest. Then all I heard was a gun shot and I saw birds rising up out of the trees. Either Barney got killed, or Barney did the killing. Unfortunately I never outsmarted that dream!

As a kid I had a dream every night, where my brothers were playing cricket with my neighbour and his dad, so I'd go to my neighbour's house to say hi to his mum, but instead of finding her sitting outside the house there were tigers walking out of the garage, and so I would run around to their side fence, where there would be more tigers, only this time they were white tigers. It wasn't until I chose to fight them that I stopped having it. Now I'm a big lucide dreamer.

Oh lawd I could talk about dreams forever. Now, I do have reoccurring dreams, but I also have reoccurring things IN the dreams. Like, I can't walk or run and have to crawl, lights are too bright I have to squint, doors won't close correctly and swing open both ways but won't stay shut, and the lights won't work. Oh, and I can always levitate. But not when people are around. :( Or reoccurring areas, like the beach, the mall/airport (they always seem to meld together) my middle school and stuff.

I always used to dream that I had to get somewhere, but I couldn't walk. I'd end up going really slowly on my knees or ankles cuz my feet couldn't hold me. I also always dream of missing the bus, but every time it's altered in some way. Last time I dreamt that I missed the bus, I ended up grabbing onto the door handle and getting thrown across a forest when the bus went around a turn.

As a child, I dreamt of car crashes, since I was very young I dreamt of driving cars and crasing them. I remember one of them was me sitting in the drivers seat playing the guitar with my feet up on the wheel. On the shotgun seat was my childhood bear Micas, swaying her body with the music and smiling. Next thing I know, we crashed.
I also dreamt a lot of falling down ancient greek steps and of tsunamis.

Yesterday, I dreamt I had PE class, which I dont anymore, and I showed up naked. In the changing rooms, I took my clothes off and then went to class. After class, I went down the escalator of my school, which definitely exists, and logged on to the computer and started calling people on their school blogs fat, and telling them they're stupid for not losing weight.
