How to tame Ban'thalos! [World of Warcraft]

Do you know why my sanctuary of malorne are burning? xP do you need to make any quests first?

You need to do up to where Mount Hyjal is restored, it's the one where you start levitating over a moonwell, but I can't remember it's name sorry >.<

If i had the enginner cloak, could i just shoot it, then fall and use parachute anywhere?

Yes, you could, however everything in Engineering has a 20% fail rate, so if you're willing to risk it then sure. Also, Ban'thalos will do heavy damage on you as you fall, and since you're unable to tame as your falling you'd be taking a lot more damage than someone doing the trick when their on the tree, even if you do use detternce.

@BunyipIsland The engineering cloak has no fail rate, but Ban'thalos will be hammering on you, that's true. Best to reserve the cloak until JUST before you hit the ground, and then wait for the moonfire and then hit Deterrence, with a Freezing Trap as well. Hard to get everything timed perfectly. Tree supposedly works better.
