@piggypooper1917 there is really no right or wrong way to string a sidewall. Its all preference and this is how I showed to string them. Since that top diamond is attached to the scoop I don't see any need to lock it down which is why I have it going straight to the second diamond and locking it onto the sidewall there (also gives you an additional sidewall hole for your shooting strings)

it may not be your shooting strings, its probably your top strings... get those as tight as possible

loose shooting strings cause the ball to throw off the top, u can fix it by adding another shooting string or add a nylon, a nylon works better

no, the top shooter should be the loosest!

u did it backwards. it goes from the top(loosest) to the bottom (tightest)

Sorry but no. If you're bottom shooting string is the tightest then that is what the ball will release abruptly off of and there is no need for any other shooting strings. By having the bottom one the loosest and the top one the tightest it will give you a smooth release.

No worries man. As I said if your bottom one is the tightest you're going to have a ton of whip and a really abrupt release. By having the bottom loose and gradually getting tighter as you go up the head it creates almost a ramp that will give you consistent and smooth release
