biggest cornice i ever dropped at baker was 50 feet and its pretty scary but u get used to it living 30 minutes away and going up 50 times a season lol
@WESTB0ARDER You would think that anyone who does this kind of stuff (you can see that he has ridden backcountry before) Im sure he knows what he is doing and atleast has a transceiver.
No, someday when I get av gear. What does it matter? "Dropping", "hucking", they're basically the same thing. That was just some serious hucking. Or "dropping" if you prefer.
No...actually, hucking refers to wildly tossing a trick that you can't land. Did he land the drop? Did he have the skill? Did he know what he was doing?
P.S. the question of wether or not you've been (or done that) there or not is of the most importance...dumbass
Why does is it of most importance? Cornices exist all over the place. And I think you can "hucking a cornice", I've heard people say it before when somebody goes off one, and they land.
Also any skilled backcountry boarder or skier knows that there is hardly a snow feature on earth that looks the same when you're standing on top of it. That is why it is important.
yeah man things are way different when you are on them. pillows and not as easy as they look to people watching. and that cornice would have felt way bigger to the person in the vid who dropped it.
that made no sense... they bomb for avalanches and mt baker always has atleast a 120 inch base at the lower lodge and 140 at the upper during season, stevens sucks
TCVAntiquiet hey fuck you Stevens is the shit and will always be the shit, just because you suck ass and only ride the groomers...........fuckin bitch!!!!!
I love that kind of drop.
Always looking for them.

Dont try that at home kids!!! Dropping off a cornice into a terrain trap is just plan stupid.

@zonker892 Is it really that bad down there? It just goes flat with a bunch of trees and stuff right? Sounds like a nightmare.
