I learned two things from this video Judy (and THANK YOU!)
I learned how to decrease on circular needles and you way looks a lot less clumsy than the way I've been doing it!
I also learned how NOT to stretch my knitting while I'm decreasing on circular needles. Can you demonstrate this technique more closely? I will watch it again (and again and again) but if there are more tips about this, I would find them very helpful.
Ahhhhh so thats how you make the decrease without the funky lumps. I always end up knitting with fluffy and fuzzy yarns because with other yarns you can spot the weird lumps I make... haha
Thanks for this! I love circular needles, as a beginner I think they're easier to manage than the DPN's. Thanks for showing how to decrease on these, I don't like DPN's at all! lol
Usually I knit 2 together (k2tog) per my patterns for hats, but they tend to poke out or get bulky in those areas. Does this method decrease that effect?
Hi Judy, I enjoy and learn so much from your videos. I am doing a round basket; I want to decrease but I am confused with the whole left-slanting---right slanting thing. Does it matter how I do decrases in the round.? Do stiches slant when you are doing a round object like a hat? Is my final product going to lean to the left or right? Help!
