To do that vinyl application properly you need to use the 3M adhesive on the edges, which will destroy the original finish if you try to remove it! dont believe me then read 3M's site! Its a bitch to take off the wrap and theres a possibility the original paint can come off with the wrap when removed, I've seen it happen. But all in all, it looks good and very affordable.

@941254 I dont think this would be true or at the very least not a worry for a couple reasons.Let me preface by saying I am no expert in vinyl wrap at all. That being said the reasons I dont think its true is because I believe you would make the edge cuts away from paint and then tuck it under with a tool. It actually protects the paint and is removable...less danger than driving down interstate. Its not a worry because razor blade cuts would be easy fix, they are not cutting down to paint bro

@ahmad450 destroys the value of the car, not like the owner probably cares considering that he bought an slr showing he knows nothing of cars most likely! haha not to mention wrapping isnt going cheap, it protects the entire paint job from rocks, debris, chips, almost anything. and when it comes time to sell the car the owner can then choose to remove the vinyl back to a perfect paint job or keep it. It's actually a very smart descision, I'm researching this as I want to do it to my M5.
