I don't see why people have to use foul language to express their opinions. We are quick enough to deride religion and it's followers, but one of the elements the Bible and the Quran share is to respect each other. What does it say about us if we keep on using swear words and filthy language to each other. That is one of the things that disheartens me most about the comments page, behind the veil of secrecy we lose our decency.

@Factszz Actually Jesus' name in Hebraic is "Yeshua." The reason the Latin name changed is because if it was "Iesua" it would be a woman's name, and therefore incorrect. So it became "Iesus" in Latin and then in English it became "Jesus." Jesus name is also pronounced "Yehoshua" or "Hosea" and these pronunciations survive as the name "Joshua" in English.

If you totally hung up on that exact name, "Dionysus" was only pronounced that way in ancient Thrace, which was a Greek offshoot. Paul was a Jew, not Thracian. The period Greco-Roman pronunciation of this name is actually "Dionysius." So if your logic were constant, the name would actually be "Jesius." In the modern English it would be "Dennis." Jesus isn't Dennis.

This is a great debate. Quran is the ultimate truth, people with high intelliect and logical reasoning are coming more and more only in the fold of islam. Many ex-bishops are now spreading the truth of islam, it is just because they studied islam and found it to be the tru religion.

Jesus Himself talked about His death and resurrection but Muhammed comes 5 centuries later to deny it. 1Tim 4:1 says...in the endtime many shall depart from the faith...giving heed to doctrines of devils. People following Islam is only fulfillment of scripture that was prophesied long ago. Satan knows he has a short time and is out to deceive the world. Jesus is your saviour and you can't enter heaven without Him.

Please think logically, how father and sons can be God at the same time. Are they equal or co-equal. When the son died, did the father also die or he was alive. The Jews asked Him the proove that He is the Son of God: He told them He would die and rise again: no one since the world began has ever defeated death, not even Adam, Abraham, Eve and Moses: they all died and remain in their graves, like Muhammed. But Jesus died and rose again, prooving His claim as the Son of the living God. Muhammed comes centuries later to deny it. Was he there? Was he a Jew? Yet you believe his lies.

How he is the son of God, you can not explain it. please answer my questions about the son and the God relationship. When the son died, where was the father? Please read Quran, with open mind. You will find it to be 100% the words of God. Gospels are written by men, it contains the words of God and words of men.

This has got nothing to do with Paul; this is about Muhammed and the Quran. Jesus came as a Jew and till date Jews never denied the death of Jesus. Jesus defeated Satan when He rose from the dead and Satan is now trying to deceive men not to accept Jesus as saviour because He knows that is the only way to heaven. Why did Muhammed deny the death of Jesus?

@73geneva Jesus was flesh and bones like other prophets. He did not do wonders by his own powers but by the Power of God. When you believe that he was son of God, you enter into trouble. The trinity is unexplainable, you can believe it but it is not understandable. From the RSV, it has been removed as fabrication. Quran is the word of God, it bring us back to the true religion taught by Jesus, Moses, Ibrahim and all other prophets. Gospels are not the words of God. Pl. study Quran.

First if you study Bible, it is full of funny stories, it is full of contradictions and it has sex and incest stories. It can not be the word of God, it is Paul invention. Now, since you say the Bible is corrupt why is it that Zakir Naik and many other Muslims still use it to validate Muhammed as a prophet? Is it not a paradox that you will use a corrupt book to support the claims of Muhammed as a true prophet? Why not reject the Bible outright and look for other sourses to support Muhammed as a true prophet; why use a corrupt book. Quite funny, I think.

@73geneva We claim that Jesus (peace be upon him or pubh)was Prophet and what he said has been corruped because the scripts were not written by Jesus (pbuh) but by other persons long after his death. Quran on other hand was revealed on Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and it brings us to the original teaching of Jesus, Moses, Davd, Ibrahim and so on (peace be on all). Quran was not only written by the companions of prophet of Islam but was also memorized by many companions of the Prophet,

@73geneva We believe Quran is 100% word of GOD. Whatever in bible matches with Quran, we say, these are not corrupted. You can never know about Quran, until you have studied it yourself. A recent example: Daniel Streich a Swiss politician, staunch opponent of Islam and he camapigned to ban Minarets on mosques in Switzerland. In order to find sound arguments against Islam, he studied Quran but then truth was revealed to him and converted to Islam. Please study Quran yourself.

There will be billions of copies of Quran in the world today and from Alaska to Australia and Japan to Niger, you pick up any Quran, there will not be a difference of comma in one copy of Quran and another. Moreover, Quran matches 100% with science and not a single contradition has been found in the Quran.
