No matter how you look at it, Jews have NO right to be in Jerusalem.

1. The Balfour Declaration stated that the Jewish homeland was conditional on the homeland not affecting the wellbeing of Jews in other countries, or Arabs in Palestine.

2. The Partition Plan designated Jerusalem as an International Zone. If Jews accepted the Plan, as they claim they do, they should be outside this Zone.

3. The Jewish Messiah is meant to come first, before the Jews return to Jerusalem.

You are omitting to refer to the Jordanian occupation of Eastern jerusalem including the old city in 1948.The Jordanian Arab Legion laid siege to teh Jewish Quarter and forced out the jewish occupants who were a majority there and vandalised hundreds of synagogues. I guess you must accept that 1967 amounted to a liberation of the Jewish quarter since you can;t occupy your own town.

The UN Partition Plan is long dead – killed by the Israelis back in 1949.

The future for Jerusalem – it will be Palestine’s Capital.

The official (and real) borders are the original borders of the Partition Plan. This is because the agreement Israel accepted for the new border was conditional on allowing the refugees to return. Israel, through the IDF, prevented the refugees from returning, therefore the real border is the Partition Plan border.

Israel did NOT accept the Partition Plan. They took territory that was allocated to Palestine. The UN said Israel could keep the extra land, on the condition the refugees be allowed to return. Instead, Israel took the land and killed any refugees that were serious about returning. Those refugees, and their descendents, expect to return, and there will be no peace until the needs of these refugees are met. Israel is fully responsible for the plight of these Palestinians.

Jordan’s presence in the West bank was the only thing preventing a complete takeover by Israel.

From a Palestinian perspective, the advantage of a Hashemite occupation over an Israeli occupation is that the Hashemites share the same language, religions and culture, and happen to be a lot more generous than the Israelis, AND, for a time, kept Israel out of the West Bank.

The movie totally ignores the fact that Jerusalem was one city for 5000 years. It was only divided, in artificual way - because of the Jordanian occupation in 1948-49 and lasted 18 years. Many JEws were living in Eastern Jerusalem before 1948 - and were simply kicked from there, or murdered by Arabs. It's the Israeli capital city, and will never be divided. Normal cities cannot be divided to two states. sorry.
