Woe unto the government of Israel for dividing Jerusalem. The Lord God has commanded that the land in Israel is not ever to be given away. Giving land in Jerusalem to the Russians is an act of rebellion towards the Lord our God.
Has the leadership in Israel lost their fear of the LORD?

America is praying for you Israel; God bless you all
No matter how you look at it, Jews have NO right to be in Jerusalem.
1. The Balfour Declaration stated that the Jewish homeland was conditional on the homeland not affecting the wellbeing of Jews in other countries, or Arabs in Palestine.
2. The Partition Plan designated Jerusalem as an International Zone. If Jews accepted the Plan, as they claim they do, they should be outside this Zone.
3. The Jewish Messiah is meant to come first, before the Jews return to Jerusalem.
You are omitting to refer to the Jordanian occupation of Eastern jerusalem including the old city in 1948.The Jordanian Arab Legion laid siege to teh Jewish Quarter and forced out the jewish occupants who were a majority there and vandalised hundreds of synagogues. I guess you must accept that 1967 amounted to a liberation of the Jewish quarter since you can;t occupy your own town.
In the former Yugoslavia, they called it "ethnic cleansing." It was unacceptable and illegal there just as it is unacceptable and illegal in Israel. Only difference is that Serbia was not a "friend" to the United States and no one wants to put oil pipelines through the West Bank.
So many of us look upon the Israeli occupation with the point of view and naivety of idealist intellectuals. It was as I imagined, only many times more intensely so!

Return Jerusalem tothe Brits? or to the UN? (Jerusalem was, according to the UN partition plan, to be an international city, neither Israeli or Palsetinian.
Or perhaps Jerusalem, beyond the greenline, should be returned to Jordan, so that Jews can be again evicted from the Jewish Quarter of the Old City.
Perhaps you favor rerecting Mandelbaum Gate?
The Green line was simply a demarcation at the time of ceasefire, it was never an official border.
The UN Partition Plan is long dead – killed by the Israelis back in 1949.
The future for Jerusalem – it will be Palestine’s Capital.
The official (and real) borders are the original borders of the Partition Plan. This is because the agreement Israel accepted for the new border was conditional on allowing the refugees to return. Israel, through the IDF, prevented the refugees from returning, therefore the real border is the Partition Plan border.
Israel accepted the UN Paln - it was the Palestinians and the neighboring Arab states that rejected the Paln - so who killed the Plan?
If the real borders are the original borders of the Partition Plan, then why concentrate on the Green line, which was nothing more than a temporary ceasefire line?
And how does Jerusalem, an international city according to the real borders, morph instantaneously into Palestineś capital?
Jerusalem will never be an International city; neither will it be a Jewish capital. It is still the prerogative of the International community to take the city, and when the time is right, it will become the capital of Palestine.
@TheChutzpahGirl Ramallah is and will be the capital of Palestine - Israel regained and reunited her capital. Your wishful thinking will not create a reality. Had the Palestinians accepted a two state solution in 48, perhaps there would have been a shared holy city - but allowing the Jordanians to expell Jews from the Jewish Quarter, and dividing the city by the Mandelbaum Gate, abrogated all claims of either the Hashemites and the Palestinians.
@TheChutzpahGirl Since Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and the city has never been the capital for a Palestinian state (perhaps you should petition to rename the City Aeolia Capitalina, and return her to the Romans?), the Palestinians have nor choice, it was relinquished when the Hashemites claimed it in 48, and again in 1967, when it was reunited by Israel.
Ramallah is the capital of the Palestinian Territories - their choice.
As to the settlements, I suggest a more in depth study of law.
@TheChutzpahGirl Jerusalem was the Jesubite capital about 5,000 years ago.
Jerusalem was conquered by King David, and became the capital of Israel and Judea well before your 2,000 claim.
Jerusalem was conquered by the Babylonians, and the Greeks, among others.
Jerusalem was conquered by the Romans 2,000 years ago.
If Jerusalem as the religious capital of the world, explain how Muslims claim the city, and yet prohibit Jews and Chritians from entry into their religiious capital, Mecca.
@foster411m I am not sure what you mean by - you have no business in Mecca - clearly,, either peoples of other beliefs can visit and/stay in a city or country, or the denial of this right is Apartheid - as was the exclusionary policy in TransJordan.
By right of anyone to be in Jerusalem, you are referring to the Hashemite rule of the West Bank and the ld City - after they evicted all Jews, and denied them access to the Wall - only a few non-jews passed through the Mandelbaum Gate.
Israel did NOT accept the Partition Plan. They took territory that was allocated to Palestine. The UN said Israel could keep the extra land, on the condition the refugees be allowed to return. Instead, Israel took the land and killed any refugees that were serious about returning. Those refugees, and their descendents, expect to return, and there will be no peace until the needs of these refugees are met. Israel is fully responsible for the plight of these Palestinians.
@TheChutzpahGirl Distort history all you want, but Israel did accept the N partition. With Iraqis, the Arab Legion, Musim Brotherhood and Egyptian troops invading Palestine, it is an interesting concept to claim that Israel took territory. Israel accepted untenable borders, but Arab neighbors rejected the UN proposal, and each neighbor declared war in order to claim their share of the promised land. They lost the war, and their claims. The Palestinians paid the price.
Quote by Israel’s Prime Minister, Ben-Gurion, May 1948
"We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon... We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai.”
With Israel under siege, you would have preferred that the Prime Minister tell his troops to lay down weapons and wave the white flag? Perhaps not a distortion, just a dillusion.
PM Ben-Gurion did what every leader needed to do at such a critical moment - rally his troops and sound like a decisive leader.
If the real borders are those of the Partition Plan, why did Jordan not return the territories captured in 1948 to the Palestinians, and why was East Jerusalem held by the Hashemites rather than atleast returning this portion of Ṕalestine;´s capital´ to the Palestinians - where was the outcry? Why is it the Zionists, and not the Hashemites that are condemned as occupiers?
Jordan’s presence in the West bank was the only thing preventing a complete takeover by Israel.
From a Palestinian perspective, the advantage of a Hashemite occupation over an Israeli occupation is that the Hashemites share the same language, religions and culture, and happen to be a lot more generous than the Israelis, AND, for a time, kept Israel out of the West Bank.
@TheChutzpahGirl Wow, that is a new twist on revionism - the fact is: Abdullah wanted Jerusalem - he had lost Mecca, where his family had been Sherif of the holy city, and he coveted the title over another holy city.
If Mufti Amin al-Husseini was hated by the Palestinians, Abdullah and the Hashemites were hated even more.
another propaganda that this film is saying that "this is done to deny from the only city that can be used to be the capital of the palestinian state" LOL - good joke... who said there should be any palestinian state...? Jerusalem - as a united city - had a clear jewish majority since the 19 century- for more than 100 years. The East part - waht is called "old city" is actually the original jewish part of Jerusalem.

The movie totally ignores the fact that Jerusalem was one city for 5000 years. It was only divided, in artificual way - because of the Jordanian occupation in 1948-49 and lasted 18 years. Many JEws were living in Eastern Jerusalem before 1948 - and were simply kicked from there, or murdered by Arabs. It's the Israeli capital city, and will never be divided. Normal cities cannot be divided to two states. sorry.
And I really were listening when you talked about Occupation of terittory, but when you started brainwashing about checkpoints and walls I understood you're brided.
If it werent for the suiciders, the bombs, the stabbers and such no wall and no checkpoints were built. Unfortunetly when men explode on busses and stab your family, won't you try to stop them?
The racist, zionist, apartheid state of Israel is doing nothing but stealing land the same way their Father Jacob (Israel) stole the birth-right and blessings from his brother through deception and treachery. They are doing nothing but following the way shown by their founder; steal, massacre, deceive ... whatever to steal places and home of others. It appears that "Thou Shalt Steal" has become their commandment.
Well, having lived in Jerusalem for 21 years, I can say this about the need for some of the things so lightly spoken of in this video - 2 of my teenaged son sons dead in double suicide attack with 10 others in a hospital, in Pisgat Zeev where we lived, 2 house down 19 year old Danny blown up by suside bomber in Kiosk in Nahariyah, next to Danny is Mordechai paralized with a bullet in his back from a car ride in the territories, accross from him same story of b
why don't you show another type of signs in your little map... suicide bombers that bomb them self in my capital city... ha ? buses, caffes, bus-stops, streets and schools. so typically arab . make me sick.
@yanzami It is a pity about your sons. No parent should bury their children. Can you also have compassion for Palestinian women who lost whole families, who live in tents when once they had homes and gardens? Until people learn the lesson of uniting instead of dividing, it will ever thus be so, people killed over frivolities like land and religion. Many hundreds lost babies and will be losing babies for millions of years to come thanks to the bombs dropped on their homes. Think of that please.
Jerusalem will always be a Jewish city. It means that Israel will never give, at least not the old city, to the Palestinians. It also means that as usual, any other religion, including Islam, is able to practice its faith there.
If the Palestinians will have it, no Jew and maybe even Christian would be able to go there, because the Muslims only want it for themselves.
Muslims have Mecca (which Jews not allow to visit), Jews have Jerusalem (which everyone can visit). That's how it will stay.
let me echo what so many before have said: how the hell can a people live through such a horrible thing such as the holocaust and turn around and NOT stand up for another people being so neglected? are human beings so self-centered and racist that they think the only crime against humanity is the one against THEIR race? I am a member of Jewish Voice for Peace and I am proud to say they have NOT missed this lesson of history. They hate these settlements and walls and checkpoints
@dwyerb Your question "how the hell can a people live through such a horrible thing such as the holocaust and turn around and NOT stand up for another people being so neglected? " answer : Zionists are FALSE Jews who did the Ho;locaust on real Jews, False Jews "form the synagogue of Satan" (Ap 2:9 + 3:9). They don't give a shit about humans, Zionism is officially a war against God's humanity ! They are shopping for an Hâr-Mageddon (around Megiddo on road 66 east of Haïfa, 55 Km from Lebanon.
@dwyerb It could be that there is absolutely no comparison or parallel to what you are seeking to infer. Rather it was the Arab League countries that rejected partition and tried to drive the jews into the Sea but failed.Rwemember the Jewish population of nearly every single arab country has been ethnically cleansed.
The tactic being used by Israel to marginalize the people of Palestine is the same uncivilized practice of Apartheid used by South Africa and China against the Tibetan people. In the West Bank, the Israelis are building illegal settlement and erecting walls to segregate & box in the Palestinians into narrow and unproductive lands. In Tibet, the Chinese are sending wave after wave of immigrants to dilute the population into a minority. Oppression rears its ugly head everywhere if we allow it.
Excellent presentation of the illegal colonization of Palestine.
The crimes against humanity being committed in Palestine and paid for with American tax dollars is sickening. Stop the genocide and prosecute the war criminals.
@Dan, Blatant lies. The bible and the koran were written by men how many years ago? What does that have to do with occupied territory in recent history?
Zionism is racist and ignorant. The bible and the koran were the most demonic books perpetrated on humanity. Look at the evil that results from the incorporation of Abrahamic teachings.

Genxxide, Juan Cole. hahahah.
He's been an Israel hater for years.
The Jews were the majority of Jerusalem the last hundred years. It was only after the Arabs kicked out all the Jews from East Jerusalem in 48, is how the Arabs outnumbered the Jews there.
Today the Jews are the majority in Jerusalem. Tell me where Jerusalem is mentioned in the Koran? Tell me when it was capitol of any Arab country.
Scholars disagree as to whether the archaeological evidence supports the biblical story of there having been a Kingdom of Israel of the United Monarchy that reigned from Jerusalem, as the archaeological evidence is both rare and disputed.

As Golda Meir brilliantly said, there is no such thing as the "Palestinian" people. They are nothing more than a mixed multitude of unwanted Arabs from every Arab country. Arab expansioninsm is their historic trait. What started as a bunch of tribes out of Arabian
peninsula had occupied the whole Middle East and North Africa and forced everyone to convert to Islam. They just can't live with a fact that anyone would resist them
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
There is a primary historical fact, that must be established now. There has never been, I repeat NEVER been, a civilization, Entity, or a nation referred
to as "Palestine" There was never a Palestinian tribe, and there was never a Palestinian country in the Land of Israel to begin with! Arab culture that allows honor killings to be legal. Israel is not for sale. It is not a pie to be sliced up and served to a clan of killers and their supporters.
@DanKelso You are obviously a rascist who wants attention. I would advise everyone to ignore you. What we need is less people like you. You appear to be the SICKO here.

Israel existed 1500 years before Muhammad was born. Look at Islamic countries and look at Sharia laws. Its a brutal, violent and an intolerant religion.

Besides Saudi Arabia and Egypt, the
entire Middle East and North Africa was never Arab or Muslim. The thieving Arabs stole all the land from the Native peoples in the Middle East in the 7th century and forced everyone they colonized, to become Muslim. Anyone that didn't convert, had there heads cut off. The Jews resisted the terrorist Muhammad and didn't convert.
The graphic presentation does a great job of showing the consistent violation of the law that has been occuring. I wish there had been a reminder of the illegal nature of the occupation, again, at the end, similar to the mention of it around about 1:38 -1:50min. Repetition about the illegality AFTER
showing graphically the overwhelming nature of the consistent increase in building of settlements, echos in words what was made so clear graphically - how huge the offense is, with no end in sight.

On the surface it does seem strange that people would be fighting tooth and nail for a piece of land.

Keep thinking and thinking.

From 48 to 67 the Arabs in East Jerusalem kicked out all the Jews, burned 58 temples and urinated on the Wailing Wall. Sickos

Scholars disagree as to whether the archaeological evidence supports the biblical story of there having been a Kingdom of Israel of the United Monarchy that reigned from Jerusalem, as the archaeological evidence is both rare and disputed.

DanKelso, I urge you (and anyone else who sees this) to read an article by Professor Juan Cole published a few days ago, entitled "Top Ten Reasons East Jerusalem does not belong to Jewish-Israelis". It's insightful. You'll be able to find it by Googling the title.

Why would moslems or anyone remotely interested in this video bother to read that article? They don't want to know the truth, they just want the world to feel sorry for them.

1: When did Jerusalem serve as a capital to any Arab Country ? Never.
2: When did Jerusalem serve as a Palestinian capital ? Never.
3: Only Israel have had Jerusalem as there capital in
Ancient and modern times. Jerusalem was never in history an Arab capital and never will be one.
4: How many times is Jerusalem mentioned in the Koran? Zero. Was Mohammed to so badly educated, he could not utter the word J-e-r-u-s-a-l-e-m

Israel existed 1500 years before Muhammad was born. Look at Islamic countries and look at Sharia laws. Its a brutal, violent and an intolerant religion.
It produces the most inhumane people on this planet.
