canada day is the same as for you guys for the 4th of July. but more into detail, canada day is: the anniversary of the July 1, 1867, enactment of the British North America Act (today called the Constitution Act, 1867), which united two British colonies and a province of the British Empire into a single country, still within the Empire, called Canada.
