@itseffinsexxitime How about using pineapple instead of pickled radish? It's like sweet and sour, something different. But if you want to use Korean pickled radish so bad, you can order online -hmart.com :-D
My wife is Korean and her Mom makes this minus the meat. It's awesome! I have been trying to make more Korean dishes so that my children can enjoy Korean food more often at home. Your videos are awesome! Please keep them coming!
I love cooking and I love cooking Korean food the most because I have Korean blood in me! I'm actually half-Korean, part filipino-spanish, and part English
I found this video very helpful and I loved hearing stories from when you were little. I am very interested in Korean culture and have been dying to try Kimbap so my friend and I are going to try making it this weekend. Thanks for all the help! You're awesome! (:
I have never seen anything like that before. I never had or heard or Kimbap, Kimbob LOL, either. It looks great. I love eggs so that hooked me. Wink. Now I am going to make it. Thanks again.
P.S,
Your husband must be a healthy happy man with all that good food your making.
@MOJITO88 Sorry for late reply! I told my husband what you said. =) If you never had it before, you've got to try it!! Because it is awesome!! hehe =)
I love your videos! I'm a student at the moment and love experimenting with food as a way to relax: your videos have provided me with so much inspiration, thank you :)
SeongKYoung, there are few good videos on beef kimbap, and frankly, your video is the most informative and best one out there! You taught me so many things I didn't know of such as how there are different types of seaweeds. The way you interacted by giving a little story about your childhood was enchanting. Thanks for teaching me all this stuff - plus, Ill be able to eat this since it doesnt have ham in it! (cant eat ham for religious reasons)
@human596 Thank you, your comment really means alot to me!! I glad you noticed everything I tried to show on this video, this is why I'm doing this and it makes me happy. =D I hope you enjoy my Kimbap!!!
this is trinity and I want to say, I love seonkyoung's kimbob it's delicious, and I see bright delicious things in her future.....yum,<3,=D. love you seonkyoung,<3,I'll miss you and daddy,<3,=D.
I think she is the only person I have seen that showed how to use a sushi roll in a manner I can understand..looks good but alot of work..she was a very cute lady to watch :)
This looks so good! And now I finally know the difference between sushi and kimbob, so I can stop annoying my Korean friends by saying "did your mom make that sushi?"
I can't wait to try this. I need something instead of carrots though, my gf doesn't like cooked carrots. Do you think bell pepper would do good to replace it?
@InuKakashi001 In summer time, spinach is very easy to go bad, so we use cucumber instead of spinach for green color, nice freshness and it won't go bad like spinach does. Lot's of kimbob restaurants use burdock because it can give meaty taste without using beef, because the seasoning is very similer. Saltyness from soy sauce, sweet, nutty sesame oil but little bit of natural bitter taste. I will make a video of the burdock recipe so please check it out later on!!! =)
THis is the best kimbap youtube! You are awesome!!! I'm going to make this for the oscar party I'm going to. Thank you!!!!
