  • I watched this for the second time tonight. This frontline piece was so biased against Chavez, many of the problems they pointed out in Venezuela under Chavez can be found here in the United States too. Such as the level of unemployment among the poor, the level of government inefficiency, the fact that no one was willing to oppose Bush after 9/11, and how even the opposition (Democrats) clapped for him like puppets and so on. This is typical American hypocrisy and propaganda.

  • esto da es pena como nosotros lo venezolano hemos permitido que este presidente haga lo que le venga en gana hasta cuando

  • Incompetent reporter and incompetent leader.

  • Chavez did not kill one million people for oil with lies, nor 3000 nuclear weapons pointing to every nation in the world, nor investing 700 billion dollars per year on military expenditures, nor intelligent service agencies sending mails with Anthrax Virus to its own population, nor Kings on its constitution, nor Nazi retarded on CNN or FOX news, nor 13 trillion dollars debt.

  • @luisbeck007

es verdad pero mata a 60 o mas VNEZOLANOS CADA SEMANA POR LA INSEGURIDAD!!!!!! y no gasta eso en armas por que en vez de gastarlo en venezuela lo reparte a todos los paises de latinoamerica!!!

  • WEll, if this guy is in love with the .."people" [Venezuelans], why did he spend a documneted four billion USDworth on russian made armaments from the russian government [including Sukhoi bomber aircraft], instead of spending that money on 40 badly needed hospitals for Venezuela? And allow the russian navy to come play war games in november off the Venezuela coast? Whats that got to do with being in love with his people?

  • This is a Bias documentary funded by Exxon. Dont let it trick you!

  • The truth hurts, eh?

  • Wanna know a hurtful truth?

Watch "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" to see what your country and the poor and oppressed media did to Chavez and to the people of Venezuela.

  • The hurtful truth is Brazilians want to be Americans and Venezuelans are screwed with Hugo in charge. DEAL WITH IT!

  • No, the truth is: American politicians can't take the fact that Chavez is a true democratic leader.

He didn't have to buy the media to elect him, or say that Jerusalem must remain undivided, or play the dirty political game. Chavez got elected for what he is and for what he stands for, and that's something those dogs who rule your country will never be able to do.

  • While the elite behind the power decides who gets elected, whether in Brazil or in US, they won't let people know that sometimes their dictatorship fails and democracy works the way it was supposed to. They have to do something about it, and this pathetic piece of propaganda is what they did.

  • Well can you tell me who the elite is in Venezuela now??? You have been defeated by your own argument. FAIL!!!

  • Apparently you don't know much about Hugo Chavez except for what mainstream media tells you. He didn't shut down that TV station because it opposed him but because it was illegal, it manipulated the truth, it planned and carried on, along with other members of the elite, the military coup of 2002.

If some people can't see any difference between what the old elite did and what Chavez did, no wonder the propaganda against him is so lame.

  • Keep repeating what your cult leader has told you.

Venezuela is headed towards deep shit now that oil is dropping below $40/barrel. The party is officially over.

100,000 murders per year, more poverty than ever, no milk but plenty of Columbian coca! LOL

  • Keep repeating what Fox and CNN have told you. You are more ignorant about Venezuela situation than you are about Chavez or "my cult leader". President Lula supports Chavez as much as he supported Bush. He is just another sold neoliberal, puppet like Obama.

  • Hugo is now having problems paying Venezuela's debts. Let me tell you once more, the party is over, oil is under $40 a barrel. Hope you enjoyed the ride.

  • That is well said, 'The revolution will not be televised' is a great documentary... and there are others out there, like 'No Volveran', and 'War on democracy: the fourth world war'.
