Obvious difference to this than those fools at Trinity. Firstly the haka used is appropriate (not a rip off of Ka Mate) It's pronounced correctly, the mita (rythym; speed) is correct and actions and pukana done appropriately and well. My guess is there must be Maori in this team and lots of Hawaiians who respect our culture. Too much!! I was starting to despair that all Americans were just plain disrespectful to us and our culture and language. Good to see you aren't all like that.

@bihinix heaps of Maori and Mix Polys on this team every year. the good thing is that the Maori players on this team teach our other poly cuzinz to do it properly. unlike other U.S. teams doing Sipi Tau and calling it a HAKA. Big Ups the this team. for doing the Haka correctly

@bihinix it was written by a NZ Maori lecturer in Polynesian Studies at Brigham Young University Hawaii after his son (a member of the team) asked him to teach the team a Haka, It's especially for the Red Raiders and the team is mentioned in the lyrics. The school has some Maori students as well,though they are a mix of Maori, Tongan, Samoan and Hawaiian in addition to Native Americans and mainlanders.
