wow i did this with like 30-40. used arcanist death and blue mage doom..... red mage-summoner with blood price too. then the second tower with like lvl 50s.... and the final tower my lvl 60s versus 99s and won first try on hard difficulty..... it took a long time though boburanus69 is right it is easy but takes a long time and so by that is difficult.

Lol this game isn't 'unbalanced.' It has items in the game that are supposed to help you out, and what you did not only takes a lot of time to do, but you got LUCKY and didn't die.

Not only did you complete all of the trials to unlock new clan skills, you also leveled a blue mage, and equipped him with the right gear.

I remember trying that fight with 6 characters, around level 40, and I couldn't do it. I had to come back at level 60ish, and then it was easy.

i still think a Vierra either as sniper/assassin or assassin/sniper is just as effective. have access to last breath, ultima, and vanish. simply use vanish at beginning and cant be hit by any attacks at all, helps jump thru first few floors quicker. also works as assassin/green mage. just use tranq and last breat. i personally prefer vanish for those pesky skills that go thru evasion.

there is an easier way to do this.

1. Get 4 time mages. All must know quicken. And also a green mage with tranq

2. Use a seeq ranger with mirror items equipped

3. time mages spam quicken on the tranqd seeq ranger while he uses mirror downs to OHKO the enemy. I was able to beat the final mission using that build alone.

Viera and Ultima Masher is possible. The best way is to use Fencer/Assassin, so that the Viera has access to both Shields and Blood Price.

However, Viera and Ultima Masher is more stat dependent - it would be more difficult for the Viera to win at level 32 than the Hume and the battle would be less impressive.

The items from the towers let you make the Evasion build, as seen in this video. Beating the last tower gives you the Moon Maiden, which grants +5 to all stats except Move and Jump.

Other than that, it's pretty much about self-satisfaction. Why shouldn't you try to beat the tower? You want to get your money's worth, right?

If the Hume can be KO'd in less than 4 hits then statistically, an Angel Ring is better than a Moon Maiden. This is ignoring the fact that the Moon Maiden also boosts speed. I'm not really sure how turn order is calculated after the units' first turns, so I can't say if the Moon Maiden's speed boost is helpful enough to be better than Angel Ring or not.

You could, but you might not find this strategy as helpful.

First of all, you need to beat Tor 3 before you can get a chance to equip Azure Tear.

Secondly, Golden Hourglass, which gets spammed in Tor 3, is unaffected by evasion.

Beating one tower unlocks another tower. Also if you follow the "correct" path up the tower, you'll find a powerful accessory along the way. You can only keep this item if you beat the top floor.
