He did what he had to do to Lemieux for the Draper incident, but he sucker punched a guy who should have known the punch was coming, then Lemieux turtled and McCarty kept going after him. Then, he had the Stanley Cup clinching goal against Philly that year and a hat trick in game 1 against Colorado in game 2 and a goal in the famous game 6 when Roy did the Statue of Liberty save and didn't have the puck.
