im planning on getting the 4gb xbox360 this payday,and bf3 too.i understand there is an hd pack that u can get for bf3,will the 4gb version of xbox be able to play this without getting the other hard drive?

i think battlefield 3 will definutley beat mw3 multiplayer. About the campaign im not sure really. I think bf3 but i cant really say. Also I think it will be best on pc then on ps3 then xbox, mainly because it seems more to me that mw3 is more of a game for xbx players whereas bf3 is more for ps3 and pc. Also xbox need 2 disks lol. And dont say this will make it run smoother, just look at la noire. That had 3 disks on xbox but ran no better than on ps3. Its just because the content cntt fit on 1

Battlefield has never been singleplayer, its always been all about the multiplayer. I only play the COD singleplayers because the multiplayer is total crap. If you think BF is known for its singleplayer it proves that you've never played the game and you're only saying that as a way to call MW3 better without receiving flak.

@refard5 gta 4 (witch i own for the ps3) does need installing on the ps3. constant internet connection is bull shite, (only for ubisoft games, steam does not require constant internet connection). well unless you are a pirrate, a activation code is not that hard to fill in (it is just once).
pc:
-high end hardware
-multiple monitor (yes xbox has that but only at forza, and you wil need 3 xbox's)
-better graphics
-higher resolutions
-line in so you can listen form your ipod without extra hardw
They said they wouldn't change the graphic much at the xbox, but they will reduce the size of the maps and max players will be 24 at multiplayer, so obviously the graphic won't change much
I like how all PC gamers say mouse is better. I play all my PC games with a 360 controller just fine. There is almost no difference. And I saw someone mentioning Shadowrun, which Vista and 360 users could play together. The reason it failed is because the game was broken. It had nothing to do with PC gamers "wreaking" the console gamers.

I love how many people make a big deal about "how much better" the PC version looks over the PS3 and Xbox version... im looking at a screenshot of both videos of this trailer stopped at 25 second, when the explosion starts to fade out in 360p .... they both look EXACTLY alike... And this is the exactl moment that I've seen the most people hold over the consol versions.
1:27 I would think a squad of trained soldiers would know that taking cover behind a fuel tanker in the middle of a warzone... is probably not the best idea. 0_o
@Cain8262 They aren't taking cover, they were assigned to clear the road block (aka the car and fuel tanker parked across the highway... Look at the mission tracker around the time that they get into the humvee.
@BloodHunter79 There's two guys with their backs against the rear end of the tanker, they're doing nothing but taking cover. If you're right about the objective, it only goes to show that DICE has been misinformed or simply ignored true military tactics. You would NEVER go about clearing an obstruction like the one featured in this trailer in that way. I mean, it's just a game and it looks awesome... but all around, this tanker sequence isn't very realistic.

I'm mostly a PC gamer, but holy shit does this look impressive. The scene where they got ambushed blew me away, I would have never thought you could make a console game look that good. I'll still be getting PC for 64 players though :P

Plus storyline can go with so many interesning ways "Pakistan intervention; Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and ect annexation; Korean War begins..." and more, and more. The posibilities are endless, but why Russia vs America? Damn DICE, i dissapointed.
@ixonixas I don't think there will be a game without America's military faction in it, while it might sound cool to not have them, to others its unappealing for reasons unknown to me. Also, it might have to do with legislation within the country, China is strict with their government, they might not let us make them a faction in a military game (Just an example, I doubt that would happen...maybe)

Mouse is like a motion controller is just sucks. plus its awkward to use it. And i've played a couple of PC games i had many troubles had to keep pushing the mouse up my wrist was hurting after a 30 min play. And Stick over WASD.

The PC version will have far more than just better dirt and sun. Textures will be much better, and from what I have heard, due to the fact PC's have no size limit, PC will have more and/or larger maps than on console.
Not that I care, I will play on both platforms, but the PC version needs respect where it's due. And consoles will never be able to handle 64 v 64. How can hardware from 2005 ever compete with a modern PC?

the thing i don't get is that ppl will buy consoles for £300 but not a modern pc which is just £400-500 for a pc that is alot more powerful than consoles, it might not max out bf3 completely but it'll look alot dam better than consoles and at a higher resolution too, with less jaggies.. plus u'l get more palyers, custom maps and mods...

@DaRkLoRd1061 But it's not just the price point that makes the consoles more popular. It's a hell of a lot more accessible. However you try and put it, playing games on PCs is more complicated (in some cases, a LOT more complicated) than on a console, and that puts people off.
There's also the social aspect. If your friends have consoles, you're likely going to have a console to play with them.
Plus, getting used to a mouse and keyboard isn't as easy as getting used to a controller.
@EviLPirateLorD yer i kind of agree mostly, but i do think that pc gaming has alot advantages especially on single player game, with mods, especiall on games like elder scrolls.... and bf3 is definately worth getting on pc, but then again games like assassin's creed and batman arkham city are better on consoles, just becuz the controls are easier for platforming....

I love how many people make a big deal about "how much better" the PC version looks over the PS3 and Xbox version... im looking at a screenshot of both videos of this trailer stopped at 25 second, when the explosion starts to fade out in 360p .... they both look EXACTLY alike... And this is the exactl moment that I've seen the most people hold over the consol versions.

@Cain8262 They aren't taking cover, they were assigned to clear the road block (aka the car and fuel tanker parked across the highway... Look at the mission tracker around the time that they get into the humvee.

If you're right about the objective, it only goes to show that DICE has been misinformed or simply ignored true military tactics. You would NEVER go about clearing an obstruction like the one featured in this trailer in that way. I mean, it's just a game and it looks awesome... but all around, this tanker sequence isn't very realistic.

Plus storyline can go with so many interesning ways "Pakistan intervention; Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and ect annexation; Korean War begins..." and more, and more. @ixonixas I don't think there will be a game without America's military faction in it, while it might sound cool to not have them, to others its unappealing for reasons unknown to me. Also, it might have to do with legislation within the country, China is strict with their government, they might not let us make them a faction in a military game (Just an example, I doubt that would happen...maybe)

Mouse is like a motion controller is just sucks. plus its awkward to use it. And i've played a couple of PC games i had many troubles had to keep pushing the mouse up my wrist was hurting after a 30 min play. And Stick over WASD.

@WhiteFangOfTheLeaf Trust me, the mouse is only awkward because you're used to a controller. If you get used to a mouse, you probably won't want to use a controller ever again. Plus, having a gaming mouse helps, you wouldn't play on a console with a cheap knockoff controller.
If your wrist was hurting after 30m, then you've definitely got problems, either in the way it's set up or the way you're using it.

The PC version will have far more than just better dirt and sun. Textures will be much better, and from what I have heard, due to the fact PC's have no size limit, PC will have more and/or larger maps than on console.
Not that I care, I will play on both platforms, but the PC version needs respect where it's due. And consoles will never be able to handle 64 v 64. How can hardware from 2005 ever compete with a modern PC?

the thing i don't get is that ppl will buy consoles for £300 but not a modern pc which is just £400-500 for a pc that is alot more powerful than consoles, it might not max out bf3 completely but it'll look alot dam better than consoles and at a higher resolution too, with less jaggies.. plus u'l get more palyers, custom maps and mods...

@DaRkLoRd1061 But it's not just the price point that makes the consoles more popular. It's a hell of a lot more accessible. However you try and put it, playing games on PCs is more complicated (in some cases, a LOT more complicated) than on a console, and that puts people off.
There's also the social aspect. If your friends have consoles, you're likely going to have a console to play with them.
Plus, getting used to a mouse and keyboard isn't as easy as getting used to a controller.
