I have a question. How long did it take you to draw that good?

I can draw, but it just doesn't come out clean. There's always some sort of mess up that says "a low level drawer drew this". Ya know?

ive been drawing for basically as long as i can remember but my drawings are lacking alot of shape as my characters seem sorta blocky, what exactly is the best way to start the better not blocky stuff that your doing cause you cant learn without a teacher? im a 13 year old artist with the lack of an instructor

@JianWB I think that mostly if you drawings look blocky, you should try adding more curves, at the beginning make them exagerated just for practice and slowly slowly make them more gentle, eventually that'll work... and if thats not the problem, try adding more shades... I had the same problem, got the same advice and it works :) Good Luck

@Barysax you should get one of those little wooden doll things that are meant for posing. I dont have one myself but I have seen them around in studios and stuff, pulled out my notepad and pencil, and those things work great for me. i recommend one.
